I'm trying to play a Japanese game 'Walpurga no Uta - Walpurgisgedichte'
It loads fine (I guess?) but I can't proceed beyond the second screen which reads
'インストールデータの確認を行います。
この画面のまま電源を切らすに、
メモリースティックTMを取り出してください。'
or, according to Google translate,
'Confirm the installation data.
To turn off the power while this screen is displayed,
Remove the Memory Stick.'

It does not respond to any buttons and I am honestly at a loss of what to do next... Any word of advice, please?

Hi everyone, I apologise if this has already been posted.

I’m using RetroArch on my Xbox Series X and it’s working with ppsspp 1.10.3 flawlessly.

However when a pop up message comes up (eg saving a game) the box pops up but the text doesn’t.

Has anyone experienced this? I have attached a photo

Also is there a way to manually update ppsspp to the latest on retroarch via ftp? When I select update all cores it states that it’s the latest, however 1.13 is the latest. I’m not too fussed because 1.10 seems to be ok just this missing text issue

Everytime when I am trying to edit any status with the memory viewer in a soldier, the game freezes immediately. Same happens when I use cwcheats. Is possible to edit the status of the soldiers? I'd seen videos in youtube where there are people whose saved states have exorbitant amounts of health, stamina and S3 ranks.

tested on both 1.8.0 and 1.13.1 , cwcheat doesn't work anymore on 1.13.1, using the same cheat file, is there a fix for this ?

im looking for cheats for the newly translated eternal punishment. ive already played through the original ps1 release, and just want to breeze through it to the point where the new content becomes available. i have tried looking for cheats for the original japanese release, but to no avail.

Being new on this forum, I apologize for any mistakes I might make.
My request is the following:
I have installed the ppsspp application ( Android) and I want to use the cheat codes (which can be obtained anywhere on the web) but as soon as I try to make them appear, nothing appears. I have used 2 methods:
* With the application: Quickedit
* by installing the cheat.db file

But without success
The only thing I have in the ppsspp settings is on the screenshot attached.

Could you explain me where I made a mistake and tell me the steps to follow to make the cheat codes appear.

Hello,

Having problems where the battle screen sprites are misaligned with the battlefield. Everything is positioned above where their relative placement should be. In other words the battle sprites are not anchored to the background, but they still maintain their location within the battle grid.

Strike effects, battle damage numbers and spells also target this empty space below where the sprites are showing up but it is where the game seems to think the enemies should be even though they are above that position. The hitboxes for melee attacks require getting close to the sprite visually while spells target the empty space.

I've played around with many of the options and still haven't come up with a fix.

I'm using the Direct 3D11 backend with intel integrated graphics but for some reason PPSSPP won't keep the settings if I change to a NVIDIA GeForce 740M card. I have the emulator sitting in a folder on my desktop and I can change and save all the other settings just fine.
What else do you need? I run an i5 processor. Shouldn't matter though right?

If anyone has a fix or work around for either of these issues that'd be great.

There was a second problem where the screen rotation in the overworld map would not rotate around the character but around a certain point bottom of screen and take the character sprite with them as it rotated instead. The camera would also collide with scenery getting me "stuck" and forcing me to use the weird glitch to even progress. Turning off Hardware Transform fixed this issue and reset the position of the character in the overworld to where it should have been but after a battle found it hadn't fixed the other problem.

Don't get me wrong, the game is certainly "playable" but I didn't see too many people complaining about this in the now long dead side thread for this game so I wonder what's up.

I redownloaded the hd texture pack for persona 2 innocent sin and a save for it but ppsspp doesn't show the texture pack or the save.
