Help needed: Installation Confirmation (?)

Hiya!
I'm trying to play a Japanese game 'Walpurga no Uta - Walpurgisgedichte'
It loads fine (I guess?) but I can't proceed beyond the second screen which reads
'インストールデータの確認を行います。
この画面のまま電源を切らすに、
メモリースティックTMを取り出してください。'
or, according to Google translate,
'Confirm the installation data.
To turn off the power while this screen is displayed,
Remove the Memory Stick.'

It does not respond to any buttons and I am honestly at a loss of what to do next... Any word of advice, please?

Some PSP games required you to remove the memory stick on start and reinsert it. I assume to make sure you weren't playing the game from the memory stick.

There's a setting under "System" you can toggle to insert or remove the memory stick.

Oh my god you were right! Removing and inserting the memo stick did the trick!
I haven't played many PSP games and it's the first time I hear about such a... peculiar feature

Thank you so so much! I honestly was about to give up on playing the game whatsoever!
