I am having the following issue:

I am using a Samsung Galaxy note 8.0 on android 4.2.2 (rooted) with a ZAGG Folio keyboard.
When i am setting up the keyboard i use the arrow keys and WASD for X O T S etc. But those
Keys only work in menu not in the game. When i set the x , circle Triangle etc. Keys to e.g. ctrl / alt shift
Its working but when i use the character keys like abcdefg.... none of them are working in the game.
I tryed different keyboard layouts like german keyboard etc. Not working.

Do you have an idea what the problem is? Because it would be very confortable to use the WASD keys instead of
Shift etc.

Achso : the ppsspp version is the latest from the market. 0.9.9.1

Would a windows net book run the emulator better than an android tablet? Would it have the same issue with the audio that it has on android tablets

Im trying to run either version 0.9.9 or 0.9.9.1 and both crash at startup. The 32bit version works but i want to use the 64bit since i have 64bit windows 7. The log says:

I have installed both the 32bit and 64bit versions of the VC redist that the link next to the emulator download provide. I also tried re-install/repair them. Nothing works :S

So, what am i missing by using the 32bit version?

Hi should I just copy over all over my older version?
How should I update to newer version?

I have a feeling that this request is far-off from being granted.

So for now, I'm asking you guys what you think is the best chat program to be used with a full-screen PPSSPP.

I'm talking about a resizable chat box which you can put on top of PPSSPP so you can use controllers to play WHILE AT THE SAME TIME use keyboards to chat. It should be as space-efficient as possible, much like a popped-out Twitch chat, and if possible, can be "always on top"-able and transparent-able.

And no, don't even suggest voice-chat like Skype. Not every PC owner can voice-chat but I'm pretty sure all of us has a keyboard. Furthermore, Skype is too bulky to put on top of PPSSPP. Might as well play with the monitor off. :p

So guys, what do you think?

EDIT: This only applies to multiplayer. 'Cause you know, there's no point in chatting with yourself. Unless you have DID, I suppose.

I want to map the X,[],O, and Triangle buttons to the moues x/y axis because I am playing MGS Peace Walker, and gameplay would be much improved if I could play it like a PC Shooter.

Hey everyone. I'm having an issue with the PC version where my texture scaling isn't staying active. It'll work for a bit on startup, and then works on some games where screens transistion, but then it immediately reverts back to off. It's much more apparent in 2D games, and possibly only happens in 2D games, where I want a bit of filtering on the sprites.

Anyways, hopefully someone can help me with this baffling issue and thanks in advance!

Is there any way to disable them without buying gold or editing the apk.

I'm sure this is addressed somewhere but after a good bit of skimming I'm just not seeing any similar threads.

The problem I'm having is probably pretty common, considering how many updates PPSSPP has endured (Thank you for keeping it updated regularly, I really appreciate it!)

Every time I try a new build of PPSSPP, when I copy my old save files over directly from the old builds folder, the memory card is always read as corrupt. This is also typically an issue with savestates as well.

Is there a method of importing all of that, or do I just need to restart progress for any games played on a new build?

I just downloaded the android version, have been using the win version before with no problems.
The problem is that it lags a LOT and i wonder if there's something wrong with the settings, because my device is not exactly top notch but is not that bad either, especially if compared to the previous gen models.
I have a Xiaomi Redmi 1S, with snapdragon 400 quadcore clocked at 1.6 GHz and adreno 305 GPU (updated to last FW), all the other native android games (Dead trigger, zenonia, etc) work well.
I tried a few games (FF Dissidia 12, Ratchet and clank, FF7 crisis core, GoW Chains of olympus), and they lag so much they can't be played at all.
Is there anyone that can help me with system settings to smooth the gameplay? Is anyone here using my same device or a similar one (Moto G, LG G2 mini or other snapdragon 400)?

I followed this guide (http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=5352) and changed 2 values as advised for android users
1) BUFFERED RENDERING -> NON BUFFERED RENDERING
2) CHANGE CPU CLOCK 0 -> 60

the games are playable now, altough still not satisfactory, in some situations there are graphics anomalies (the screen goes black or there are red lines on the screen borders) but acceptable.
what else can i change?
