I couldn't help noticing after updating ppsspp that the BGM and sound effect options under more settings audio, seem to have vanished. Both feel like they've been drastically cranked up in games, since updating. Any news on why the option to fiddle with these has been removed?

I have a problem with ppsspp 0.9.7 or later build. Whenever i open the app it will close. But if i run ppsspp 0.9.6.2 i have no problem anyone know why and if I have any chance to do something?

I use an android device v 2.3.3 [LG P500]

So I bought the gold version to support the developers after I heard all of the great reviews. I have a Droid Maxx Android phone which is a fast phone:

Dual Core CPU 1.7 Ghz, Quad Core GPU 400 Mhz, 2 GB RAM

I started playing Dungeon Siege and Persona 3, and the video skips, and the sound is constantly stuttering also. I saw there's a settings thread, but I was wondering if I could get customized settings' recommendations for my phone, and for the PPSSPP version I have which is v0.9.9.1 Gold.

The Hardware page mentions that the Moga Pro has D-Pad problems, but that's just an elimination out of many options.

The options range drastically in price, from about $12 to $70 just for Moga controllers. I don't mind putting money into a true quality and experience upgrade that's worth it, but if the $12 version does just fine, I'm all for that.

I'm looking for simplicity and portability, and I only play FFT:WotL, anyway.

Any advice or experience?

I have been trying to play Metal Slug anthology games but there seems to be grid lines all over the screen. I have tried all sorts of diff settings but none seem to have any effect on the grid lines. Here is a screenshot of practically the lowest settings by practically turning everything off:

Even though I have been fiddling around with the settings for a while now to no avail, I may have missed something. Any help appreciated.

Is it legal/possible for me to download a game off of PSN onto my computer and then play it on the emulator without owning a PSP? If it isn't I'll probably go pick up a used system, but I the relatively small subset of games I'm interested in might not justify the relatively big expenditure.

I had this same issue before, but the previous resolution of changing the Display Resolution isn't fixing it this time.

Basically, the android touch screen reads all touches as "below" where I'm actually touching- I have to hit the middle of the Button quad arrangement to hit X, menu input I have to hit the lower part of the entry above the one I actually want, etc.

EDIT: Whoops, forgot to mention: Fresh install on a (Not so freshly) cleaned phone, and no other applications show this symptom, so it's locked to PPSSPP.

Hi, I'm having a bit of trouble playing Final Fantasy Type-0 as you can see in the subject line. The game runs perfectly fine for me and I'm using ppssppv0.9.9.1 my only issue is the controls. I got my ps3 remote working fine with the emulator and played many other games with it perfectly fine but with FFT0 the analong stick wants to act as both analong and Dpad. How do I fix this? That is if there is a way currently known.

Edit: I figured it out sorta. I just hit "restore defaults" in the ppsspp control configurations and it solved my issue. Although I'm not sure what changes in the controls made this happen.
