Hi there. First of all, I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong thread. I went to the homepage and there isn't q&a section so I assume this is where I should post my question (correct me if I'm wrong though )

Ok here's the problem. While some settings work excellent in a game such as MK: Unchained in ppsspp, some others like GoW and Marvel Ultimate Alliance show strange behavior (GoW extremely darkens the screen in some areas and MUA gameplay is flickering). There are many other games which show problems just like those so is there a definitive guide which shows what each setting does or a thread mentioning the game-specific settings for every game. Here is the machine config:

I am running ppsspp v1.0 on Android 4.4.
Device: Xiaomi Mi 3, 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 processor,
Andreno 330 GPU, 2 GB RAM.

any help for delete the message of Windows each time that i open the emulator?in the old rev this not happen,we have a chance for delete this messages of ppsspp 1.0?

well now with this new versión i am confused,i love play the game with nice quality my question with the new mode d3d9 is this mode is compatible with all options graphics example fxaa,psp x8,etc or the mode d3d9 is the same mode of default of pcsx2 called mode software?

this happen with my computer,i have opengl since the old versión psp x8,16 x AA,fxaa,xbr psp x5,etc but i need disable the vsync or the game have lag...

with the versión new of d3d9 i have the same configuration more the vsync enabled and the games work perfect but i see very few different graphic...is my imagination or this happen?i loose quality with d3d9?all shaders effect work with d3d9?

my computer is AMD phenom II x4 955 3.2 GHz,6 gb ram drr3,AMD 5770 vapor x,500 gb hard disk,windows 7 64 bits.


what configuration recomended opengl or d3d9 for have more quality?

My monitor is really old and almost any every game look too dark at my monitor settings that I don't want to change.

The shader is called DolphinFX and with certain settings on some of the tabs,all games look way better(on ppsspp I have to increase the gamma from the nvidia control panel to look almost the same)

It's really great shader with user friendly settings and if ppsspp support it,it would be awesome(it's like all in one and you don't need the other shaders)

I'm using ppsspp on ubuntu 14.04 since some weeks, it worked perfectly with lot of games unitl the upgrade to version 1.0, just after the upgrade my joypad totally stops to work, it is still recoignized by ppsspp but no button is functioning, I tried to reconfigure it, I try to reinstall ppsspp but nothing changes. Of course the joypad works perfectly with other applications.
The joypad is a cheap Extreme Force shock pro model 04270; it is recoignized natively by linux kernel (no 3rd party drivers needed), it works perfcetly in native linux games and also through Wine.

is there any tip? I installed ppsspp through the ppa, is there a way to rollback to the older version? thank u in advice

Star Ocean first departure keeps freezing when I load my cheat list using .db for some reason. The first time the cheats worked but now it always crashes. I tried deleting the .ini file, the cheats folder is in the correct psp folder I don't understand. Cheats work for my other games just not star ocean!

It has nothing to do with the audio in game but rather my system volume overall. When I have the emulator minimized it shows up in my volume settings. I was listening to some music and noticed the volume was low (system volume). So I looked in the volume settings and everything was maxed. I decided to lower the emulator's volume and it increased my system's volume. I tuned it all the way down and it was back to normal. When I put the emulators volume back up to max it got low again.

Is this supposed to happen? I'm using the latest version of the emulator as well.

Edit. I noticed it was with the emulators volume itself but rather the volume of the game loaded in the emulator.

Since no one seems to be addressing this, I took it upon myself to be the first one to.

So... why exactly is the 1.0 Android build inferior compared to version 9.9.1b? It feels as though games are more laggy, slow and stuterish in the latest version compared to the older 9.9. What are the changes in 1.0? And why does it perform poorly than 9.9?
