| How does PPSSPP perform so well? |

I know I have decent hardware (i5 4690k @4.5ghz, 16gb RAM, gtx 960) but I can't see how it performs so well. I mean compared to pcsx2, which isn't bad by any means, it seems like it doesn't stress my PC much at all. I run it at 10x native resolution (damn near 5k) and 5x texture upscaling. I can't make it run poorly even if i tried (which I have.) I run games such as MGS Peace Walker and FFVII Crisis Core in turbo mode and they get constant frame rates of 300% and 200% respectively. It seems like they could exceed those speeds, but it's as if they're locked. My GPU is only mid level but it isn't chugging along or anything. Are PSP games just easy to emulate? I know the 2 God of War titles are a bit difficult to get full speed on, but not impossible. (Ghost of Sparta runs flawlessly for me, even without the prevent fps from exceeding 60 setting turned on. In fact it refuses to exceed 60 fps anyways. turbo doesn't seem to work on it, but i don't really care.)
I know the minimum requirements are dual core CPU @2.0ghz, 2gb RAM, and I guess any GPU supporting openGL 2.0. So what would recommended specs be like? I tried searching for some but it doesn't look like there is a list of recommended specs.

PS3 controller Dpad and Analog problems |

I'm new here, so sorry if posted in wrong spot. I'm using a PS3 controller with the program Sixaxis. I mapped all the buttons in PPSSPP and Sixaxis, so they should work fine, but they don't, and yes I've remapped multiple times and reinstalled both softwares. My problem is when ever I use the left analog stick, or dpad, it is like I am pressing them both at the same time. For instance, I want to play Def Jam, when ever I move the left analog stick left to move my character left, it also presses the left dpad button. So my character does a taunt, then moves left. This is extremely irritating and annoying to deal with. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a phone, but before I do, I want to make sure that witch ever phone I choose to buy will run ppsspp full speed constant 60 fps.
1st question... is it even possible to run ppsspp full speed on android??
2nd question... if yes, what sort of hardware would I need?
Some phones that I'm considering buying...
Moto G 2015 (3rd gen) 2gb ram model
Zenfone 2 ze550ml
Vodafone smart ultra 6
The phones I mentioned have either snapdragon or intel atom quad-cores, with 2gb ram, and adreno 302/405 gpu.
Would any of these be enough?
Thanks!!

| PPSSPP1.0.1 save state issue |

I'm playing PPSSPP 1.0.1. on my Windows 10 computer. (Dell Inspiron 1500 series, I think). I have previously been using the old PPSSPP 9 series, and I just upgraded today.
Firstly, I think that PPSSPP 1.0.1 is a big step up from PPSSPP 9 series, as the new one has noticeable quicker speed, better graphics, and better sound.
However, I am encountering a problem that I have not encountered before. I was playing MGS: Peace Walker and I was at the beginning of the game, where this terrorist looking dude trains your character. I did a save state of that scene, intending to pick up the game from there. But, when I went back and loaded the state, the terrorist guy was speaking but there was no image/graphic/video.
Any ideas why that is and how to fix? Thanks.

I have had several versions of ppsspp. At one point, I used to have it on my phone. On it there was an aforementioned folder that I could fiddle around with. I just downloaded ppsspp on my Asus Nexus 7, but I cannot find a PSP or a PPSSPP folder in the root when I connect it to my laptop. I started up a game and created a save, but, nothing shows up even then. I'd really appreciate any help with this.
