hi guys, first things first nice job with ppsspp i can finally play MHFU on my phone, such a pleasure!!
i tried recently to play on my pc with an xbox controller because i was tired of the bugs that can occur on a touchscreen due to the humidity, the control mapping went great but the analog stick seems that it can't handle diagonals, my caracter can only go forward, backward, left and right. i tried nearly everything in the analog options but nothing seems to work..
(note: diagonals work but just a little.. not enough to make the caracter move these ways)
So i've been kinda reluctant to install CFW on my PSP to extract UMDs as ISOs cuz of possibly bricking and ruining psp, plus i generally like the vanilla OS. so i downloaded an isos of games i own and the cutscenes and background music doesnt work. Namely Daxter when you start a new game just goes right to the you running around out front of the bug store and when you talk to the guy, it skips the dialogue and goes onto the next part.
Basically, im wondering if i turned on a setting, or if i need another plugin, or if its just a bad file and i need to make one myself.

I encountered the problem where i load a saved state after saving a game. Now I can't save in actual save but is there anyway i can save an actual save now onwards or am i stuck with save state?
and as foolish as i am my corrupted save is deleted as well~
Ok, so I need a bit of help with this. I've gone through a lot of settings but can't seem to find the right one. How do I make the 2D fonts etc smoother ? They're not like this pixelly in most other games .. maybe it's just a FFIV thing, but if it's possible to smooth out the fonts, that would be greatly appreciated.
Using latest 1.2.2 version.
Laptop is i5 5200u w/ intel HD 5500. Running at 3X Native res, FXAA anti aliasing as the post-process. Running 64 bit version.

edit: playing around with some of the other post process effects, 5xBR seems to make the sprites look a ton more cleaner but the font remains blurry. There are other shaders which make the font a bit smoother at the cost of image clarity.
Are there any internal PPSSPP settings I can tinker with ?
I've looked up various choices, including the Logitech Powershell and the Moga controller, but I'd like to know if there are any recommended ones that work best with PPSSPP. I prefer the ones that connect to the device directly and can be used as a case rather than the Bluetooth ones (so I'm not really looking for something like the Steelseries Stratus controller). If it can work with gba4ios as well, that'll be great. Currently, I'm leaning towards the Logitech Powershell controller. I read that it can even double as a power bank, so I'm really interested in buying one.
I installed the emulator and started it up the first time with no issues. I closed it and when I tried to open it again nothing would happen. Now whenever I try to open it, I get the error 0xc0000005. How would I fix this?
I'm getting periodic (about once every few minutes, although it's not consistent) hangs of 2-5 seconds, even on games with very lowly/2d graphics like 'work time fun', and even when the game isn't doing anything.
The pi is running the roms from a USB drive, but my RAM isn't full and it doesn't happen during obvious loads, so i don't think it's necessarily a storage speed issue (unless there's other stuff going on!). the CPU is also down in the low %s when the freezes are happening.
I've rebuilt from the current version, disabled developer logging, but none of the other suggested performance options strike me as being likely culprits, so thought I'd ask here before changing everything from default and getting into a mess!

(there were two freezes i noticed here about 5 seconds apart, and after the second i exited)
Hey guys, I've been using PPSSPP for almost everyday now, and I noticed a strange issue one day.
I tried to play God Eater Burst, I clicked on it, then screen unresponds, after that it's back to normal but the game won't run and I would have a message saying my AMD Drivers tell me they have recovered from a crash.
It also did that in Midnight Club : L.A Remix and Midnight Club : Dub (3 ?), but in MC some of my screen glitches out.
God Eater Burst and Dub 3 will actually send a message "Wait for EmuThread time out!" I have no clue what the problem is, but any help would be appreciated.
OS : Windows 10 64-bit
Processor : AMD A10-7400P Raden R6
Graphics Driver : AMD Radeon R5 M230 Series
RAM : 4GB
PPSSPP Version : v1.2.2 ( However I tried a 32-bit version too, it didn't work. But I tried 0.9.8 and it worked, but serious lag issues.)
I tried getting a PPSSPP log, this is the best I can get.
Update : I also played NARUTO Shippuden: Legends: Akatsuki Rising, same thing happened in this game. Wait for EmuThread time out! also.
