Second level sound loop and game freeze is fixed in latest android build (9.9.1.533). This occured within the last month. Second level problems present in build 9.9.1.38

Hi, I know this is a necropost. But has the "looping sound then freeze" been fixed?
I've used the latest version once then tried v0.9.9 on a Windows 7 PC but still neither versions had fixed the problem. The black screen on the shuriken area is bearable as I can just disable buffering --- although it flickers a lot. I hope there'll be a fix soon. This game got me going the first time I played it. Thanks in advance in behalf of those who have the same prob.

Never mind. It's working now on v1.0.1. I haven't tried the shuriken area again though. Keep up, PPSSPP Team.

There's some problems with PPSSPP D3D render unfortunately and this game :
- black screen that comes in the view everytime the shading change when you're close to an enemy, fortunately that black screen disappear when you make the action or move away

- black screen that appear when aiming shuriken at enemy, but unlike the one with enemy proximity , it does not disappear when you aim then stop aiming (make the 1st mission unplayable as you'll need to use a shuriken)

- light environment seems to change regularly (while it should be constant) between near day light and evening/night light

In the OpenGL render none of those problems seems to exist from my tests.

I'm using an US version of the game and so far it works without a hitch, graphical or otherwise. I managed to beat level 2 without any of the crashes experienced in previous versions of the emulator and no black screen at all. I'd say this is pretty playable now.

i am also having problen with blackscreen appearing when i throw the shuriken at the guard during practice can any please give me a link to a build or a solution for this

tick disable slower effects to get rid of that blackscreen

on another note....this game is lagging on androd for a second i get 99% speed and another second i get 75%speed....i mostly get 75%
and in cutscenes its a 100%
