It's actually quite time consuming but could be done in a matter of hours if you're into it.

I'm trying to upscale some of the minor characters using Waifu2x and maybe editing on top of that. I think that this one came out well if you want to add it to the pack. Let me know if I should continue.

Please do. And explore ESRGAN as an alternative option as well.

I don't know if ESRGAN is a good option compared to waifu2x in this type of game.

Depends on what model you use to upscale. The original is crap, and Manga109 at this point is outdated because there's so many better models that have come out.

I've some examples from Muramasa with my current upscaling workflow, but I'll admit the one that's contributing more is the dedithering model that I use prior to upscaling to get rid of dithers (which is a main culprit of upscaling noise).

I just upscaled every portrait I had access to (using waifu2x) because why not. Some came out well. Others, not so much. Either way, I felt like posting them so...

Hey, kudos for the HD retexture, really digging it. I have one concern though. Where do I find the image file replacing the character model shadows? It irks me quite a bit seeing the square shadows underneath every entity inside tartarus. Also, are the "New Folder (2)" and all required folders or can I clean em up. Thanks again for the absolutely cool retexture amigo.

In case anyone wants it, I added the missing dialogue images for the female protagonist, and the tweaked the OP's textures.ini with the above additions.

Just download Trident's folder as a zip and extract it so the files are in Adding/, then do the same with this and it should work without further fuss.

Hello! As the title says, this is an HD Texture pack for P3P. It is an expansion on the excellent work made by DinJerr. I'll leave his post for reference:

Greetings. I'd like to first thank you for the amazing job you've done on this texture pack. The textures, portraits and text look very high quality.
I have a question though.
When a new portrait loads, for example when changing personas, there is a half/one second lag.
Is there a way to fix this?
My phone is a Sony Xperia XZ1.

@DuIslingir I recommend you also make a 3x one. The 6x not only barely helps make a difference, it's...too much. It will cause noticeable stutters most of the time playing the game no matter the hardware. Imagine it on low-end devices.
