So, I'll start with the suggestion:
Would it be possible to have the ppsspp folder in each archive to have the full version number as is listed on the download page and the archived file name?

I know, one could always just "extract files" to have it make the directory ppsspp-v0.7.x-xxx-xxxxxxx with a sub directory of ppsspp, but that seems kind of redundant to have the a default "ppsspp" folder listed inside the version type directory.

The reason I ask this is because I've started just putting the different versions in a folder titled "ppsspp" so that I can try different things on different builds if something comes up, such as a newer build accidentally causing a game that previously ran to not run anymore. (Hasn't happened yet, but is always a possibility)

Now for the newbie questions:
I know nothing about programming, the only tech support I've ever been able to give is finding compatibility issues between a system and resource intensive software such as online games, so helping pinpoint potential issues as to what is causing a game not to work is quite beyond me at this point. What would be the best way to help in issues such as games which fail to load at all (such as Monster Hunter Portable 3rd) if any?

I am more than willing to learn if someone would explain what should be looked for, as well as being willing to install additional software such as tools to decrypt psp games if someone could help point me in the direction of what to look for. (One day I have time, I might be randomly looking through a 100% playable game or two and comparing it to one that doesn't load, but even then I'm not sure that would be very helpful)

I want to enjoy playing racing games on PPSSPP, but there's a problem that bugs me. Acceleration requires keeping a button constantly pressed (X in NFS titles, if I'm not wrong). However, the touchscreen becomes unresponsive after a few seconds of continuous pressing, so the car suddenly starts to slow down.

The solution I see for this issue is adding a switch on the screen. This switch would be assigned to one of the gamepad buttons. Press the switch once and the button to which it is assigned is locked in the "pressed" position. Press the switch again, everything goes back to normal.

Is this an option that could be implemented in the future?

i can't find any automated builds since yesterday what happened?

i've noticed some games which do run in ppsspp and go ingame but they dont detect the ms.like-
1.littlebigplanet
2.mgspw(says that ms is corrupt)
3.svr 2011(saves nothing)
there are more but they are not worthy to tell
someolder versions of ppsspp like 0.7-16 is able 2 correct the problem on mgspw
can't any1 fix this on the later versions?

I'm new to this and I tried playing Kingdom Hearts. The screen is all black and so I checked the forums about this game. I found out that only the menu doesn't load but the game is playable for the most part. The only problem is I don't know how to get to the game.

I don't know which buttons to press to start playing the game. I don't even know which buttons correspond the which keys. I checked the forums for help and all I can find are posts about wanting a key configuration. I checked the toolbar of the emulator and didn't see anything that would tell me the keys. The main ppsspp.org page doesn't seem to display anything about that either.

Can someone help me figure out the keys?

First of all awesome job on the emulator, now regarding the Configuration Keys...

When the developers decide to add configurable keys in the future please also add support for the symbols in the keyboard like:

; , . [ ] Left Control Key/Left Alt Key/Shift - = etc...

Some peoples still use those symbols in the Keyboard to configure stuff so please don't leave us out. Keep up the awesome job in the emulator.

I know cloud saves are planned, but this is a nice temp. solution. (on windows for backup purposes.)

0.Register on dropbox and install the client. (if someone doesnt have dropbox account yet and wants +500 mb ref link: http://db.tt/FpQJM3vC )
1.Move your Memstick folder (temporarily) to somewhere else. (to another drive\folder)
2.Open up the command prompt (fastest way is to press windows button+r on your keyboard and type in cmd and press enter.)
3.Type in : mklink /j <your path to ppsspp memstick (original location)> <your dropbox folder> Example: http://i.imgur.com/Z9vIJOC.jpg
4.Move the PSP folder from your Memstick(that you copied to somewhere in 1.) folder to your dropbox folder (what you used in 3.)
5.When you overwrite your save in ppspp, dropbox will automatically sync it.

If this is hard to understand i can make a tutorial video for it.
