First off, this is possibly the best emulator I've ever used given how tight it is for how long it's been around, thanks to all the people working on it.

Second I have had an issue for awhile now when using ppsspp on android with an external controller. I have an asus tf701t(this happened with the 700 also) with an external dock with a usb port so I have been able to use both the wireless 360 controller(with dongle) and wired. I have also used the ps4 dualshock wireless and wired. Most games work fine, but when I play MGS: PeaceWalker whenever I use the controller it can only detect snake running when I'm doing forward backward, left and right, not any of the diagonals. I know from other threads I've seen it is likely due to the range of the external controller vs the psp expected range. I also see the touch screen control has no issues with movement so I get that it's to do with controllers. I'm just wondering if the issue is being worked on to support external controllers better? I verified the issue does not occur with the same controllers on PC. Is there something in the controller configuration mappings on android that can be adjusted? Is this an android issue or a ppsspp issue?

When I play God of War Ghost of Sparta, the framerate isn't locked at a fluid 60fps. The counter does say it runs at 100% (fps & cycles), but the actual framerate fluctuates.

Here is a screenshot: it ways 47/47 (100%) in the counter.. weird right?



I can imagine this is because of limitations to the actual PSP hardware.. but is there a way to make it run smoother?

For example; which setting for the "Emulated PSP CPU clock" is recommended for it to run smooth? Or are there any other settings which can be enabled to straighten out the framerate? When I set it at 500mhz (instead of 333mhz, which is default I thought for GOW games) nothing really happens.

Another game like Dead or Alive Volleyball has small hitches in framerate, like microstuttering. Panning across the island you notice it best: small hiccups. I can't seem to resolve this issue; I have Vsync enabled, no speedhacks. Tried the 60fps framelimiter off and on, but to no avail.

if im going to get a gaming tablet it want it to play psp games as well. Please tell me if its good enough to run ppsspp.

Im new here.

I'm a little new to this, so let's get right to it. I am sure I have the most up-to-date version of PPSSPP and after I was able to get the games I wanted on the app through itunes, I held down the game icon and the game opens. When I press play the app closes on me. I am on JAILBROKEN device running ios 9.0.2 jailbroken by Pangu. What is going on. Is there some settings I need to tweak? The two games installed (if that helps) is Need For Speed Underground Rivals and Grand Theft Auto Chinatown

I updated my graphics driver (for Intel HD Graphics 4400 and on Windows 10) and some the graphics (in home screen the squares, circles, triangles, and x's in the background, as well as the game icons and the ppsspp logo) suddenly started being all pixelated (see photos). Game assets were glitched in the same way and it stayed that way even after I reverted the update. Yesterday, before the update it all worked fine. I tried downloading a more current version of ppsspp, but it still had the same issue. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Anyway performance isn't an issue but whenever I try to play games (SAO, Danganronpa, Corpse Party, other weeaboo death games) they always look... off.
Should I not be playing at full screen?
Anyway, can someone give me the best possible settings for ultimate graphics/resolution please?

If they're supported how do I use them?
