Sigh Found a bug. During Brave/Broder's heart 1 event, after winning the duel and changing scenes to Martha's house, the game freezes, similar to how the game freezes when during Crow's dialogue after defeating Team 5Ds in any D3 character's Heart 4 story.

Latest version ppsspp auto-closed when playing game
when playing yu gi oh tag force 6 using latest version, i always had auto-closed ppsspp after dueling. now i'm sticking with old version build 892 which free from this problem.. i'm using note 3 btw.
setting - buffer rendering , fast memory ,mipmap, hw transform, software skinning, vertex cache, disable slower effect on.

from my finding.. (v0.9.9.1)

892 - ok (no issue auto closed ppsspp)
896 - not ok (have issue auto closed ppsspp)
897 - not ok (have issue auto closed ppsspp)

927 - not ok (have issue auto closed ppsspp)

Just to clarify, you mean that v0.9.9.1-896-g4ed97f9 does not work, and v0.9.9.1-892-ge43c7af does, right? There are multiple v0.9.9.1-896. The "896" number isn't what tells me what version it is, it's the part after the g. This is because git isn't exactly "linear" - multiple developers work on the project at the same time.

Assuming that range is correct, I would've expected v0.9.9.1-1280-g326c298 to fix it. v0.9.9.1-1292-g2db9275 should've had that fix (again, I'm assuming that's the one you mean probably.)

Can you double check with the latest git build? If it still happens, can you confirm which git builds you were testing (are my assumptions correct)?

yes. as you stated above, v0.9.9.1-896-g4ed97f9 does not work, and v0.9.9.1-892-ge43c7af does.

Well, that means it was one of these four commits:

1. Don't msgbox on game exit (homebrew can legitimately do this)
2. Assorted minor optimizations
3. Arm disasm: Coalesce multiple "BKPT 1" like we do on x86 for INT 3
4. Clean up after the block linker. armdis: add BKPT

The first, #1, won't really have any impact in most games and then only really on Windows. It would only be if the game quit. So it can't be that one.

#3 just affects debugging output, so it can't be that. #4 is the one that had the recently fixed bug, which fixed a similar issue in Tactics Ogre. So it doesn't seem to be that one either.

Most of the changes in #2 do not affect ARM devices, so can't be the culprits either. The only change that affects ARM looks extremely safe.

Unfortunately, I don't have this game, and so far have not reproduced this issue in any other games. It seems like it's most likely #2 or #4 still. Is anyone who has the game willing to try compiling the individual commits and narrowing down which one caused the problem?
