@AdamM
Quote:Btw, is there any games that couldn't see the Host or other players with the last build?Every game i have tested saw the host ! there were only connection errors or timeouts BUT all the dragonball games (shin budokai 1,2, tag team) didnt see each other! Also the naruto ultimate ninja games (1 2 and 3) have very strange timeouts in the adhoc lobby, but they can see each other I got BlazBlue Continuum Shift 2 to work but i dont know how xD as i cant reproduce the process of how i connected to the host :/ @GuenosNoLife I updated my Post #274 #285 and #287 Join the EVOLVE PPSSPP Ad-Hoc Multiplayer Party ! RE: [AdHoc] Compatibility List
Welp,I tested Kingdom Hearts BBS with a friend using the build from #281 and it seems it solved the issue with player not being able to enter te online arena AND the issue where players could join it,but can't create/join any event.
But,it still have an issue which consists in players won't being able to join an event.If you create,your friend can't join and if they create,you can't join. I'll keep testing with my friend to see if we can join the missions(tested the 25% and 5% slow trick,didn't work). |

RE: [AdHoc] Compatibility List
When you test over LAN it works better then over internet.
You can get socket/timeout errors more often on internet. |

RE: [AdHoc] Compatibility List
Well,I did some research and found out that this speficic problem is from the multiplayer of Kingdom hearts BBS ,not just us.What happens in fact is that when any of us try to join an event it says "The event has been canceled" right after attempting to join.

RE: [AdHoc] Compatibility List
dissidia duodecim works only with VPN like wippien, hamachi and tunngle protocols... If you try with a box with a DMZ on it you'll get a never-ending white screen as soon as you'll get to the selection character pannel with your pal
There must be something that must be existing on VPN connections that doesn't on DMZ ones and make some games work... |

Since adhoc games was designed to handle minimal lost packet it will get issue when getting too many packet lost. VPN is a simulation of LAN where it wrap the less reliable packet into a more reliable packet when transferred through the internet to overcome the unreliability of UDP. That's is why VPN is more reliable compared to direct connection through the internet. Btw, did anyone have issue (ie. crashes) using savestate (ie. loading an old savestate) on my latest build?
