RE: zip files
To properly convert between ISO and CSO, obtaining the size benefit of CSO, there's a program called ciso.exe and a bunch of fancy clones with GUI.

Maybe we should add built-in conversion at some point.

That's a great idea.

I loved when FPse added a "Save Space" option or whatever they called it in the menu. Shrunk my PS1 ISOs way down.

I'm currently in the process of using PSP ISO Compressor v1.4 to shrink so ISOs, but I'd love it if it was built in to PPSSPP.

RE: zip files
Are any of those ISO -> CSO tools open source? If so, we could probably take a look at integrating similar code into PPSSPP.

RE: zip files
CSO or EBOOT.PBP (PSN downloaded games) usually, there's no reason not to in PPSSPP, performance-wise.

RE: zip files
@Cyclonmaster & @globe94 I think you two didn't read the "open source" part. @TheDax rather thinks about implementing the code in ppsspp directly.

And for that "Ciso" which Henrik already mentioned is open source. In fact probably both above programs use it as wellTongue.
