I've tested it on other builds / separate machines before and it does the same thing.
Can I ask you, How did you test it? I mean I am new but I could not find any adhoc server.

With builds from both LunaMoo and AdamN, which can do an adhoc session on the same PC using two PPSSPP sessions, as long as the Adhoc server is active in the settings on one of the sessions. I confirmed this, as I could see the username from the other session in the lobby and start the joining process. The sessions are communicating, but Reborn has some issues...

#1: CPU emulation issue with the game on builds past 0.9.8. Game inputs/hit properties get reversed. It works correctly in 1.9.3 with some code modifications which is how I'm playing it currently (https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/issue...32269117), but not sure when/if this can be implemented in future builds without conflict.

AND

#2: It didn't work with older, 2 PC Adhoc methods either. It would always just freeze on "Now Loading" even if the sessions could view each other in lobby. Not sure what's causing this...likely a very different issue.

My goal right now is to get it running on one machine so I can play games "offline" but it'll need those things fixed in one build. So, I've documented what I can in that thread to target the CPU issue first and MAYBE one day Adhoc can follow. If anyone takes this on I'd happily test, I've wanted to get this working for many years :>

Just one dunno, let me explain.

Yesterday i try to connect Phantasy Star 2 Portable, not the infinity version, in a LAN with 3 Players. Ok the Players, can see on the lobby, and start in the main area, but when the leader select mission.

PPSSPP v1.9.3 stuck on "Now Loading", someone know if exist some fix for this game or not ?

The Infinity Version can work with this mode?

Have you tried my test build? you can find the download links on my signature below

PS: This will be my last build before making a pull request, however it doesn't have the blocking socket implementation since i couldn't have the time to touch it for months, and will probably no longer working on PPSSPP in the future, so my next pull request will be the last one also (still waiting for that travis-related commit i saw today to be merged into master before i make my pull request tho)

Edit: pull request are done https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/pull/13132

Yeah i see its not working anymore.
Even tried the test build too bad but I remember it worked when you changed the timeout to be above 100.

You may want to try again using the latest official build at https://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/
It contains my multiplayer changes now, which should includes the PSP2 fix.

This pull request https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/pull/13318
Should be much more stable and faster multiplayer Smile it may not fix games that weren't or half working before tho

Games that were having heavy performance drop (ie. Power Stone Collection) and games that were frozen almost permanently due to blocking socket (ie. Hotshots Tennis, Digimon World, etc) should now be able to run normally.
High latency may still cause performance drop tho, probably because i haven't simulate blocking for sending data (didn't bother with blocking sending because it wasn't critical issue that could cause near-permanent freezes)

Along with this i also fixed possible crash related to AdhocMatching, and also fix one of the multiplayer mode on Bleach Heat the Soul 7.

PS: It's not on my old test build links, so you guys will need to wait until it gets merged
PPS: The old MinTimeout implementation was buggy, so with this blocking simulation the higher the MinTimeout you use, the lower FPS you'll get, which is normal/expected to happen when overriding the timeout on games like Power Stone Collection.

Edit: Here are the test builds if you want to tests this over the internet.

That game seems to have many multiplayer mode, but the only one working during my test is just one of the mode (i'm not sure what it was because all the text were in japanese LOL)

Kingdom Hearts issue is much more complicated, after testing it on JPCSP with prx files (which is the only way for it to works) i suspects it has missing feature within the PSPNetconfDialog implementation, so i gave up investigating it because dealing with JPCSP logs on my slow laptop is a pain in the a** Sleepy
