Breath of Fire III wasn't released on PSN in "native" eboot format (as in, it came in eboot format as a PS1 game) as far as I know. 4GHz AMD 3900X, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 6GB Nvidia RTX 2060, Asus Crosshair 7 Hero (Wifi), Linux How to ask useful questions: https://web.archive.org/web/20110214010944/http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 I'm not Dark_Alex, nor do I claim to be. Breath of Fire 3 - Regression
Hello, Breath of Fire 3 (PAL) is currently broken. It seems to suffer from some kind of screen "doubling" effect not sure what to call it... I combed through the daily builds and found the precise version when it busted.
It works near perfect on version v1.0.1-2643-g4815046 and is completely busted the very next build (buildbot) v1.0.1-2649-gf107a2f Merge: 4815046 a3078a6 Merge pull request #7964 from unknownbrackets/tex-split-prep Prep for splitting texture apply into two phases and is busted from then on wards. -- I say near perfect because the game has some blending issues with spell effects, and sometimes when using the save state it makes the screen flicker. Hope this helps, effects the Windows version (unknown any other version.) |

RE: Breath Of Fire III
I didn't really see a reason to merge a regression from the development forum, but okay.

Unfortunately it's not, or was then regressed again. It doesn't always do it, but most of the time, exit in and out of the menu a few times to see the issue if it doesn't present itself right away. |

RE: Breath Of Fire III
Hey, I get past the Capcom screen and I have sound but no picture. The game isn't frozen because I can hear menu bleeping and stuff when I push buttons on my controller. It's just a black screen.
