by the way, about my first post. I have changed my phone and now everything is fine. So if someone will have same problem, you must know that it's problem in GPU. This lag is only on PowerVR devices. Adreno and Mali working fine

hello

I tried all settings but when I am in the city center on gta vcs I have a drop of framerates (10/15/20fps) and speed (about 50/60/70%)

I have a galaxy s5, maybe the device is not optimized yet?

Can anyone help me with this...

I just downloaded this emulator. I'm a brand new user. I am trying to make my GTA - Vice City Rom work. I unzipped the .rar file and when I open the rom in the emulator it will shit down after the intro. I'll click start start or 'X' on the button layout twice and then it will read unloadable maps? Any idea?

On latest build its playable but still slow on Android 1gb RAM phone. Does anyone has settings to make it faster? I dont like frame skipping.

Unfortunately I think there's no good way to run this game fast on android. I've tried many different settings, and it keep slower. The only way I think is using some hacks like frame skipping and others, but I don't like them.

Hello friends. I tried playing this game today. I have an issue with it (not sure what to do about it).

I've tried the US and EU versions. Both times, I can get the splash/intro screens to load. Then the game starts a loading bar. It gets maybe five percent full before it freezes. When I turned on the FPS counter, I saw that this had frozen as well, meaning that there was no new information being loaded in.

I am not quite sure what is causing this, or what I can about it.

Black Screen - GTA VC stories
I tried using the new version of PPSSPP but the game is not working; it is showing black screen. audio is working. If I press space bar then it works with transparent black screen. is there a way to fix it.

I have Windows 7 64 bit 2.3 ghz dual core processor with 64 mb dedicated video memory and 3 gb ram. I searched the forum but there is no particular fix; I have tried everything that is out there. so i have created a new thread

Update:

I used the v0.9.9.1-1212-g94f89ea automated built and the black screen problem is solved. You have change it to open3d9 for rendering backend option.

GTA Vice City Stories and Liberty City Stories still have Serious Issues on PowerVR GPUs.. Main Character, Pedestrians and basically all Humans are Invisible except in Cutscenes.. Also Traffic and all Vehicles are Invisible.. Among other disappearing Objects like some Trees.. I wish this would be looked Into.. But Thanks for all the effort PPSSPP Devs

I already posted the solve in Liberty City theme (:

Just change your render to non-buffered.
You will see nothing but a darkness, so push start to see a map.
When map appears wait 2 secs and push start second time.

Also for me the game runs better without frameskip, but with 45 cpu clock.

Avoid "but" and "no". Workaround with love [over hate] .
