Ok so recently I updated ppssspp from v 0.9.6 to .8 then installed the runtimes required. when i opened the program it was fine and then i tried to start playing a game. It was running but the display is like this: (attached)


So what am i gonna do? Pls. reply asap because I really want to play....

I have spent in total about 4 hours scouring this site as well as other sites trying to figure out how to fix my problem, im using ppsspp obviously, the newest automated build that is offered and no matter what i do or try i cant save or load in anygame, i could when i first installed the program but now it wont let me on any game i play, and if it has autosave it makes ppsspp crash everytime. like i said ive looked all over tryed everything ive seen so i decided to post and see if someone could help me, it lets me use save states and load states just fine, but i cant get around the autosave crashing my games, please help

Hello everyone
Since I have two devices from which I can play PPSSPP, is there a way for me to use the same folder for the save files?
I thought it would be a cool thing to be able to use a google drive folder that both devices would use when writing/reading save data. The problem is that I haven't found a setting that would allow me to change the location of the save files.
It would be great to know if such a thing is even possible with the use of a service like google drive or dropbox or even sharing files directly through the same network(in the same work group). I've tried poking around a bit already but to no avail.
Just thought it would be a cool gimmick, considering the small size of the save files. Otherwise I have to transfer files manually either by using a cable or a shared network every time I play on either device.

My C++ runtimes are updated. The older 0.9.6v works just fine without giving me the error.

PC specs:

Windows 7 professional 64 bit
I5 2500k @ 4.2ghz
16gbs DDR3 1600mhz ram
Radeon 6970 x2 crossfire

I'm unsure why this is happening.

Oh derp, I just noticed the 0.9.7 version and up require the C++ (2013) runtimes, which I didn't have installed. Nevermind, it works /topic.

F1 to savestate,and F4 to load it,ive been playing pretty good till today when trying to load this message appears

Aborting savestate load

i dont use cheats,neither i think somethings wrong internal,also tried restarting and didnt work
so what to do?

Crash/freeze on quit/close emulator

I have a problem with my MHFU. When I'm creating my character and I have to type my name, simply I can't write, the text screen for write that appears in the PSP with this emulator doesn't appear, and obviously I can't type with my keyboard.
How can I write? I know that maybe it's a stupid problem but I can't write and I can't start the game!

So I downloaded the last official release of the emulator (0.9.8), but when I launch it, it freezes and when I stop it, it said "Wait for EmuThread timed out.

So, how could I solve it ?

I've been trying to play the first Corpse Party on v0.9.8 but it gets stuck at No system data found in the current storage media dialog and none of the two options do anything. I've checked ignore illegal read/write.
Any ideas?
