  Recommended extraction software?
Posted by: UNIBANNEX - 12-14-2014, 07:28 AM - Forum: General Discussion and Announcements - Replies (3)

Hey there, im new here. So I moved my gundam vs gundam next plus file from my psp 3000 to my pc. But I was wondering should I extract it or not? Under what condition I should extract it? Will it corrupt the files? And finally what is the best recommended extraction software should I use? Just a curious noobie here :p

Save State between Android and PC
Posted by: DarkSupremo - 12-13-2014, 12:16 AM - Forum: General Discussion and Announcements - Replies (2)

Is there an way to load an Save State from Android on PC?

I was playing Tactics Ogre on Android and then i tried play it on PC using the same save state files and none worked, all i get is "Failed to load state".

My idea is to make an link with some cloud storage to make the saves synced between both (android and pc)

Cross/Analog keys toggled with LShift/LAlt combination
Posted by: movomo - 12-12-2014, 06:57 PM - Forum: General Discussion and Announcements - Replies (3)

Hello, first off, thanks for this super performance psp emulator.
I have a question regarding L-Shift and L-Alt key combinations.

I'm trying to set up Monster Hunter 2nd G (running JP version), imitating Monster Hunter Frontier Online's (PC version) keyboard controls. The problem is, if I hold down the LShift key and input analog keys, cross key(s) of the corresponding analog direction is toggled on (stuck) and left pressed until I hit the cross key.

So... I discoverted these things
- L-Shift toggles cross keys when analogs are pressed down. Doesn't do anything when pressed with cross keys.
- L-Alt toggles cross keys when cross keys are pressed, toggles analog keys when analog keys are pressed.

This LShift is key is kind of crucial to my keyboard setting. Is this a keyboard hardware issue, or PPSSPP feature? If this is an intended feature, is there any way to change this behavior? - so that I can send the toggle keys away to somewhere I'll never hit?

Question What keys should I use
Posted by: Black Sun - 12-11-2014, 12:07 AM - Forum: General Discussion and Announcements - Replies (6)

Sorry if someone has posted stuff like this before a million times (I'm guessing these posts are overdone...)
What keys should I use? I'm on a laptop, I have no idea how I should set up my keys? Any suggestions?
Again, sorry.

Question PPSSPP missing a 'memory card'?
Posted by: ePilgrim - 12-10-2014, 09:20 PM - Forum: General Discussion and Announcements - Replies (6)

Apparently the PPSSPP doesn't have a 'storage medium'?

So basically I'm trying to play Digimon World ReBig Grinigitize Decode on my PC as a test run before they release the full translated version (from Japanese into English). The game appears to work perfectly fine but it would seem like it wants me to choose a memory card or something before I can even start playing it. Do I have to create a folder or tinker with something to make the PPSSPP think I have a memory card, or at least, some where to save? Or am I just screwed because of current issues with PPSSPP? The bottom line is that it won't allow me to create a new legitimate save and therefore I cannot progress through this section of the game. I'm a little bewildered with the fact that there are no visible settings for memory. The only thing close were the settings under the title of 'Emulation'.

Here is a screenshot of the in game error that won't allow me to progress further into the game. Yes, I am aware it's Japanese. That is not the issue and nor is the game. I'm wondering if I have to *do something* to set up a proper saving-system or something. Feel free to translate it though!

Got it translated...

The first attachment translates to:
"Save data not found
A storage medium with more than 365KB of available space is needed to store save data"

The second attachment translates to:
"Start game as-is? [presumably without save data]
Yes / No"

First, I load up the game... then the first attachment appears on the screen after it attempts to load. After that, the second attachment appears as the next prompt. Selecting either yes or no makes no difference and the game doesn't continue on from this point.

What is the issue here?

I just need to bump this up before bed... This issue has completed halted me and I have no idea what to do anymore. I've been hard at it trying to resolve this issue for 4 hours now.

Smile Can I use a controller/gamepad ?
Posted by: Jack5619 - 12-10-2014, 09:20 AM - Forum: General Discussion and Announcements - Replies (3)

Hello Smile

I'm a newbie to this.
I've just installed the program.

Can I use a controller/gamepad ?
And how do I install it or select it ?
I have a standard PS2 controller and a Rumblepad 2 controller.

Will one of these work ?
Or must I buy a specific controller ?

(I'm using windows 7)

I ask this, because the keyboard settings are a bit annoying.
