  Crashes on Save State
Posted by: AmberStar - 12-31-2014, 10:59 PM - Forum: General Discussion and Announcements - Replies (4)

I joined because I really would love to fix this problem. I'm doing a Let's Play of Corpse Party and I would love to have the save states readily available to me. Unfortunately, just today PPSSPP would crash every time I tried to make a save state. Does anyone know what the problem is and how I can fix it? I have v 0.9.8.

  Save states not working!
Posted by: imran102 - 12-31-2014, 09:19 PM - Forum: General Discussion and Announcements - Replies (1)

Hello there, I'm a new user of the PPSSPP, which I got yesterday.
I started a game (Persona 3 Portable), and everything seemed fine, savesates worked too.
But then I closed it, and when I got it up this morning, all my savstates has been lost.
I tried it again, and again my savestates were lost the moment I closed the PPSSPP.

Help?

  3d Model ripping bugs
Posted by: mrmanlyman69 - 12-31-2014, 07:22 PM - Forum: General Discussion and Announcements - Replies (4)

Hello

I wanted to rip 3d models from psp games, but rpcsp doesn't work so i gotta go with the superior emulator

ppsspp-v0.9.9.1-395-g170e888-windows-x86 version works with ninja ripper, but there are missing meshes, and it only rips the missing meshes
what is displayed on screen is the exact opposite of what gets ripped

ppsspp-v0.9.9.1-395-g170e888-windows-x86 version works with 3D ripper DX, it rips all 3d on screen, however all textures are blue
from what I know, this build was one of the earlier ones to include a GPUBackend

ppsspp-v0.9.9.1-1318-ga4924ff-windows-x86 is the latest build i have, but it doesn't load in 3d ripper dx, and ninja ripper can't rip meshes, but texture rips are blue here as well

The game doesn't seem to matter.

Thankyou for any guidance

  [SOLVED] VideoCoreIV Sound Problem
Posted by: GrandGalaxy - 12-31-2014, 04:15 AM - Forum: General Discussion and Announcements - Replies (10)

Even with a 1.2Ghz Quadcore BCM chipset android phone, PPSSPP's sound stutter like playing at 25% speed in every game even at 100% speed using frameskip, which never happened in my old dual-core PowerVR phone at 3 frameskip.

Things that can affect the sound output are already unchecked like "Atomic Audio locks" and Audio Latency, I even tried Multithreading off.

Maybe it was the Attact3 Codec Compatibility with BCM23550 Chipset. I hope the Developer's can do something about the sounds.

The emulator is Doing a Good job even in Low-end devices.

  [Android PPSSPP] Controller and Battery
Posted by: Cajux - 12-27-2014, 01:14 PM - Forum: General Discussion and Announcements - Replies (3)

Hi there. I normally use PPSSPP on my PC, but since it's somehow weak, I decided yesterday to try the Android's PPSSPP on my recent tablet. I'm talking about an ASUS Memopad 7 ME176CX. The things is, since I have PS2 controllers and a PS2 Dual Adaptor, I managed to play PPSSPP on my Android with my controller. However, it seems that this consumes a lot of battery, and when I tried playing without the controller, it seemed to me that I was consuming less battery. I have been researching but I haven't found any specific answers. So, does using a controller on the Android for PPSSPP really consumes more battery. And the final question, will it end up decreasing my battery life a lot? Thanks for the answers, guys!
