I have a Raspberry Pi3 running RetroPie 4.2.3 with Emulation Station V2.1.5RP. I have 8bitdo's NES30 Pro and FC30 Pro bluetooth controllers. I am able to fire-up PPSSPP without a problem and navigate to the manual controller set up menu with a bluetooth keyboard, but PPSSPP won't take any of my 8bitdo's controls when I press them.

Any suggestions out there?

I'm trying to play a couple PSP games with a friend, but he keeps crashing constantly. He usually doesn't even make it into a game, the emulator keeps crashing in the main menu. We've tried changing around the settings and running in admin mode to no avail.

I can probably get his system information if you need it, just ask.

Hey guys, I'd like to know if it's possible to add to emulator something that auto adjust the interal FPS to keep the emulation speed at 100%. I rather to have a low FPS rate and 100% emulation speed than higher FPS and slow motion gameplay. Dolphin already has something like this, I ran NFSU2 on my laptop, it's a 60 FPS game, but it drops to 40 or 30 when needed to keep a 100% emulation speed. This will help to run games better on smartphone, games like Soul Calibur Broken Destiny can't keep 60 FPS on my phone, it runs with 60 FPS and 60-90% of speed, Tekken 6 runs with 50-70% 60 FPS, I don't like to use frameskiping, it gives a bad experience gameplay. So, what about this?

as the title said, i just installed the latest build of PPSSPP (v1.4.2) and when i launch the app it worked fine but the first thing i do is changing the backend from openGL to direct3d11 and it crashed right after i apply it, now i can't open the application at all because it always crash, both the 32 and 64 bit version. how do i fix this? i can't even change it back to openGL backend because it won't let me go into setting before it crash and there's no memstick folder in the install directory, i've tried uninstalling and reinstall the app but the app still crash, help!

I recently saved over some old save states but when I went to load the new save states they would load the old ones instead. The little screenshot shows the new save but the old one still loads. Also a ppst.tmp file has showed up in my savestate folder, the time it was created matching the time I saved. Is there any way I can recover my saves from these, TMP files, or am I screwed?

I got this problem where I cannot save the game by regular means anymore. The game is Monster Hunter Freedom Unite.

This started when I kept opening save states repeatedly in a short period of time (I'll admit, I tried to cheat once trying to get Kirin carves) and then suddenly I was unable to save. I think it somehow broke the game by reloading savestates.

The game worked perfectly before. I was able to save every time. But ever since I did the state saving thing it seemed to have broken it. Probably karma.

But anyway, it's not too big of a deal since I can use savestates anyway, but I still wish I could save regularly again. Any help?

EDIT: Got a pic, this happens every time after I press "Yes" to save after a mission.

can i playing game psp with keyboard?

I've had no problems playing with my S7 (worked well even without auto frameskip) until when I've updated my ppsspp. It may seem that the problem would be solved once I downgrade it again but it didn't work. I'm stuck playing at 15fps for some reasons, any help? And oh right, just to let you know I've moved the PSP folder when I deleted the app and moved it back again once I reinstalled it.

I'm trying to play Kingdom Hearts 0.2 on the PPSSPP then it says the emulator has stopped working, PLS HALP!

I'm using a gamecube controller and trying to play KH Birth by Sleep, but I can't run going forward, back, or to the sides. I can run diagonally though.
