1.3 had the "simple scanlines" shader which seems to be absent from 1.4.2. I copied the "SimpleScanlines.fsh", "SimpleScanlines.vsh" and "testshader.ini" files to the "shaders" folder and the shader appears in the shaders list but enabling it doesn't change a thing. Am I doing something wrong?

EDIT: Ok I figured it out, it simply doesn't work under DX11.

I have just recently download gods eater burst, everything worked fine.... i created my character then took on the first mission
A cut screen appeared, after that a loading screen appeared and the game seems to be stuck there forever. I dont know if there is some bug or the game just takes a long time to load

First thanks for the great work to create ppsspp. I really enjoy it on pc Windows platform. Awesome project!

For RPG I have been using the toggle speed function intensively to fast forward the game. I did switch between two speeds quite often. Everything worked well until one day my laptop screen started flickering. software diagnostics show that my RAM failed. This laptop thinkpad t570 is about to hit 1yr milestone which I think it's relatively new. So I didn't expect this would happen.

I am pretty dumb in it hardware, and no offend here but just wonder if speeding up the game could pose any potential issue on computer RAM CPU?

Help,we are trying to play online by LAN but every time we'll connect one of the cellphones don't enter to the room.
The first one can enter but the second one press O and the game freeze?

So I don't know if anyone else has encountered this bug, but I currently own a Samsung Galaxy S8 (Exynos version) and have a game breaking bug with OpenGL in some games like Luna and Hexyz Force (See screenshot). When set to OpenGL the graphics get all cut off and distorted and makes the game unplayable. When I switch to Vulkan everything runs perfectly, but due to its early stages, it crashes when I minimize the app. Is there currently any fix for this OpenGL bug? This bug doesn not occur on other Samsung Exynos devices.

Hi all,

I have an AMD Radeon R4 GPU and i read somewhere hat it's not recommended to use OpenGL with it, so i changed Rendered backend to Vulkan, PPSSPP crashes whenever i start it. How can i change it without PPSSPP running?

PPSSPP works wonderfully well on my computer with the exception of one thing: When I try to use the built-in recorder, the emulator crashes (especially during an FMV sequence)


Last time I tried recording with PPSSPP (April), I didn''t have this issue. Could my new laptop be the problem?

Hi, so I wanted to ask some questions.

My device : Xiaomi Mi5 Prime
PPSSPP version : 1.4.2

1. Is it possible to get atleast 25-30fps stable without sound stutters in God of War : Ghost of Sparta? Already tried this code http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?...#pid124208, didn't help much.

2. Is it possible to fix stutters in Colin Mcrae Rally 2005 Plus? Most of the time I get 30fps but some times it shows that game is running 30fps but it freezes like for a 1-2s and runs good again. But some times fps drops to 15-20fps and that's really annoying. Already tried a code for correct sun, didn't help, disable slower effects is checked

I got a new tablet, Lenovo Yoga Book. I installed ppsspp and it just crashes when I launch. I tried the google play one and the apk one. Is there anything I can do?
It is running android 7.1.1
