GOW: GOS and CMR 2005 Plus problems on Android.

[righN]

Hi, so I wanted to ask some questions.

My device : Xiaomi Mi5 Prime
PPSSPP version : 1.4.2

1. Is it possible to get atleast 25-30fps stable without sound stutters in God of War : Ghost of Sparta? Already tried this code http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?...#pid124208, didn't help much.

2. Is it possible to fix stutters in Colin Mcrae Rally 2005 Plus? Most of the time I get 30fps but some times it shows that game is running 30fps but it freezes like for a 1-2s and runs good again. But some times fps drops to 15-20fps and that's really annoying. Already tried a code for correct sun, didn't help, disable slower effects is checked

Thank you for help.

Racing games and God of War aren't that easy to run, you need a powerful hardware. Xiaomi has bad UI that harms the phone's performance, Snapdragon 820 should have better performance running GoW.

You should try reduce PSP's CPU Clock in system settings, and don't use too high resolution. If you already use Nougat, try out Vulkan API with last build: http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp

Vulkan API seems to work very well with GOW. Now I can even get 60fps. But CMR is running pretty much good but sky is black, I tried changing to skip buffer effects but then sky and road is black.

Yeah, 60 FPS on GoW can be a reality for phones or weak computers, once it supports Vulkan. It's normal to get some issues using Vulkan, it needs some work on PPSSPP, also mobile drivers don't have a good Vulkan support at this moment.

Yeah, I noticed that about Vulkan after I spent more time playing. Textures sometimes were buggy and there are some stutters even on LineageOS custom ROM but it's better than OpenGL anyway.
