Hi all I have an android box with ppsspp installed and I want to run my games off an external drive how do I set it to do this any help would be very grateful.

Appreciate your work, thanks!

I recently bought a psp and patapon 1, 2, 3 and I have some saves from my ppsspp emulator, I transferred the save files from my emulator to the psp memcard, i put them in the correct directory and everything. The psp system recognizes the save file for the games but when I try to load them they come up with the error "Load failed. The data is corrupted." any help?

PSP update (latest)

Hello. I recently have downloaded the PPSSPP app (free) on my phone but the only problem is that it launched the app with the black screen but the moment I try to tap on my phone, there isn't a black screen when I put my finger on my phone then it goes away and I was left with a black screen once again once I put my finger up again.

Anyone know why this is happening? I am currently using a Sony Xperia A (basically the Japanese version of the Sony Xperia ZR). Thank you!

Apologies in advance, I already checked the forums lost data threads, but to no avail. It is possible that I might have skipped something when I was checking. This is the second time that this happened. I use windows 10 for anyone wondering.

The first time I installed ppsspp I pinned it to my task bar, then I use it for about 4 days, then it says the shortcut was moved or changed and every game save data, in-game or ppsspp, was gone. I didn't do anything to it!!

Next time I create a folder with all my games on it as well as ppsspp. I pin it to my task bar again and also put on my windows desktop screen. I resume playing to catch everything up to speed. Couple days later the screen app disappears and the shortcut claims was changed or moved.

At this point I don't care if I get my game saves back, I just want to know how to prevent this from happening again, I remember a warning on extracting ppsspp somewhere else, but I'm kinda not sure how or even if I did. I use windows 10 for anyone wondering.

Just as the title says.. I only tried moving save states from "Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment". Both devices has the latest 1.80 PPSSPP version. PC saves are loadable only on PC and Android saves are loadable only on Android; if I try moving them they just fail to load.

I just installed PPSSPP on a Nvidia shield and when I go to games I see an up arrow with two dots (..) and the word pin below it. No matter what I do, how many times I click the up arrow or change the word pin to unpin, it never displays new folders. So basically I can't navigate to any games, my flash drive or anything else. How do I fix this?

Any possible solutions?

Alright boom, so I'm over playing Tekken 5 on PCSX2 with another friend and it's stretched out. So I'm like, "Hey, you wanna try that widescreen hack?" And he's like, "Sure, why not?" So I add the widescreen and the game is more zoomed out and the more of the stage is revealed, which I like to see. So I'm thinking to myself, "Could Tekken 5: DR or Tekken 6 be able to do the same thing?" So I go to the PPSSPP settings and I try to find some ways to see if I'm able to widescreen it, I come up with no luck. I look into all of the settings 1 by 1 to see if I could come up with a resolution and nothing came up. So I decided to go on a hiatus for a couple of hours to search up this kind of solution, and yet, no luck still.

I'm sitting on this game looking at this:

Which is also the same like this:

Which I don't want to see it as,
I would want to see it exactly like this:
(See how it is zoomed out and the stage is more discern)

I would like to know if there could be a solution to give these 2 games or other PPSSPP games in general, this exact widescreen hack if possible.
