I've been using PPSSPP for years, and recently i decided to go back to it to play some online games.

When trying to connect to a specific IP adress (including my local ip adress), it gives my a socket 10013 error.

I tried everything, changing my DNS to 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4 , i tried to disable my firewall, i allowed PPSSPP in my firewall, i ran PPSSPP as administrator both 64 and non 64 version, i tried using an older version of PPSSPP and nothing works.

Any idea what else could be done about it ? I was playing online back in the days on version 0.9 something and it was smooth.

I am experiencing choppy sound and lag.

My tablet's specs: 1.30 GHz quad core CPU , 1 GB RAM, Android 7.0

I want to play GTA on my PPSSPP (i'm on PC) and it lags so much.

My PC is really fast (GTX 1060 6GB, Core i7)

I bought the gold version because I like to support development but the sound is very choppy and cracking up I'm using a Motorola Moto z force phone so I know my device is capable of running PPSSPP but I don't know if my settings can be changed. Any way someone can help?

I wish to have a bit of help with the prologue of Symphony of the night. I try to max my starting stats by killing Dracula under 1 min, no damage received and no sub-weapon (For OCD and stuff). The problem is that I am no very good at it, especially since I have a XBox 360 joystick (which has a pretty bad D-pad).
So, do you have any idea that can help me with that, be it cheat or PPSSPP functions? (I already know of the save function and the slow down)
For those not knowing the game, the best way to deal damage is via a combination of touch (Directions counterclock-wise + attack) but you need to do it mid-air, so fast enough.

I welcome any idea and thank you in advance.

PS: it's my first PPSSPP game and I don't have a lot of experience with the emulators.

This is is a bit of an odd place to ask for help but ill try anyways... So i have an xbox one s controller but the view or select (the button opposite to the start button) button is mapped to back on android, so whenever i try to map it in this emulator or any for that matter, it goes back or in PPSSPP place it goes to the save state menu ish. This started happening today i believe which is bizarre...

Do i need to root my phone to remove this mapping or what?

I am having trouble playing Silent Hill Shattered Memories using PPSSPP 1.8 for Windows. The electronic screens (in-game) are completely occupied by the form given during first session with Dr. Kauffman making it hard to make out things. I have attached the image to give a better understanding.Actually that is the screen of the monitor in the principal's office at Midwich High. I can't make out the questions, so I am pretty much stuck at this point.

hi, i know the ppsspp since 2014, i installed him before but my old devices cant run with nice performance and the app was recent, but not the question, im here because yesterday i installed the ppsspp app from play store (1.8.0) on my device (Moto g6 Plus, with nice hardware to play games), its ok, i played Midnight club 3 and Lego batman (+1 gb) with no lags after the first time launch, but i uninstalled the app to test old version (1.7.5) to see differences, after install this version my games was running with lag, impossible to play, i updated to 1.8.0 and lags keep, i erased the "PSP" folder that contains data of app, uninstalled the app again and the problem no fixed, i installed ppsspp on Galaxy s8 and no problem (equal hardware than g6) and games running clean, i was thinking "the app probally have caches of datas on system or other folders, an defective data" but i cant find this, what the problem of this lags? i did not do system modifications at this time, the "cache" is true? i can solve this? help
extras: system version - Android 9.0 pie
ppsspp version - Free 1.8.0
Ram - 4gb (3gb~ every free to ppsspp)
Processor - 8 core, 2.2ghz (x4) 1.8ghz (x4)
Gpu - adreno 508
