RE: [v0.5] Riviera: The Promised Land
If you're lucky, the graphics will sometimes show. It's some weird timing issue. I was getting them like 1/9 times. But they don't stay forever.

Might be texture cache related, I guess.

RE: Riviera: The Promised Land
This game works perfectly so far in jpcsp 0.6 3040:3129, would be nice if ppsspp fixes the disappearing stuff, I don't like to use jpcsp Sad

RE: Riviera: The Promised Land
As much as I'd love to see this fixed, it looks like the issue with this game (texturing?) isn't an issue Hrydgard & co. have encountered as of yet, and given that there were maybe one or two posts in this thread before, this game was probably considered a low priority.

RE: Riviera: The Promised Land
...and the gba version was a remake/port (idk) of wonderswan xD

As I said the game is completely playable on jpcsp, no issues whatsoever, I'm also using at3tool.exe so voices work too.

RE: Riviera: The Promised Land
^ The problem is this game isn't popular so nobody cares (as is the case with many other titles).

I'm happy I could play it on jpcsp since I don't have psp anymore. So instead of waiting for a fix that will happen who knows when, consider trying jpcsp and don't be picky because it doesn't work on phones. Take what you can. It's MUCH BETTER THAN NOTHING.

By the way I finished the game recently so it's playable from start to end.

RE: Riviera: The Promised Land
You also have to consider the fact that: if we don't have a game, that makes it a lot harder to fix, if it ever gets fixed, because we can't debug what we don't have, heh. That said, emulators tend to work like this: if one game gets fixed, several more usually do as well(and some possibly get broken, but that's a different story), so if we come across another game that has similar issues, it should be fixed over time.

RE: Riviera: The Promised Land
Minor update, it seems like this game is working in 0.8.1-861 on Windows with no graphical issues(at least on NVidia), if you don't use the turbo button/fixed speed button at all before getting in-game. If you use turbo or fixed speed before going in-game, kiss the background goodbye, unless you reboot the emulator entirely. As for how far one can play, I have no clue.

RE: Riviera: The Promised Land
you just lucky, it will crash randomly, choose "extra content" when you're in title screen or press start button to open option menu, you'll see result clearly.
they only fix many big problems and let small issue go to oblivion :-<
