RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd
first of all, hello to everyone that enjoy ppsspp and love mh series
im playing MH3 portable on android without many major problems, smooth, no lags; im playing on my tablet (asus memopad 7 - me176c) the only thing that bothers me is that the plants have the texture bugged or something, they have this kind of square as you can see on the images, and the invis square block the texture of the character when you see it from other angle, can someone maybe suggest some changes in my settings or some sort of solution to this, thanks my config is: buffered rendering frame skipping 1 auto frame skip on rendering resolution 2x display resolution 2x mipmapping, hw transform, vertex cache, lazy texture, retain changed textures and disable slower effects all on Text filtering auto screen scaling linear disable alpha test, disable stencil test and texture coord speedhack all on imgur.com/a/XW2PP (album with photos of the problem) |

Hmm, looks like z-fighting, or possibly overly agressive culling or something? Are there other driver options?

Monster Hunter P3rd PPSSPP settings?
I am having problem in experimenting the right setting for Monster Hunter Portable 3rd. I am using the non-HD and I thought that it will be smoother than the HD ver. but it is still the same which is laggy. I got full speed going on quest, my problem is when I'm in the village. The sound is crap and the speed is so slow. There is a little bit of slowdown and lags when I'm fighting giant bosses like Zinogre. I am using android phone which is Zenfone 2. The specifications are in the picture, 2gb RAM. I know that my device can handle this kind of game. I will look forward for your help and concern. I appreciate it.

Graphical glitch galaxy s3
Hello, first time here but not the first time i'm using PPSSPP (which is an awesome emulator). I have an annoying graphical glitch in MHP3RD which makes the ground flicker with weird polygons-like forms on it. My fps is great, goes from 22 to 26 and 30, but those graphical glitches are just plain annoying. I also had this problem with MHFU but unchecking "Disable Alpha Test" solved it on there. Tried the same thing with MHP3RD but it didn't change anything, I mean MHFU and MHP3RD basically have the same graphics and engine, it should run as good as MHFU without the graphical glitches...No? If anyone knows how to fix this issue, i'd be extremely grateful, thanks!
EDIT: Provided a screenshot to show some polygon-like forms (there are way more in-game and they flicker) it gives you an idea of what the polygons look like. EDIT #2: I don't know why my post got merged with another that didn't have any answers to my question but ok... |
