RE: Remote disc streaming
This is what I did:
1.I downloaded and run the latest beta for android and pc
2.Enable the debugger only on the phone side
3.Start the remote sharing on the pc side and browse the games on the phone side(again transparent square with no icon)
4.Went to the debugger site from my pc,add the IP manually and I was able to connect
5.To make sure that the debugger is actually getting data from my phone,I run a game that I have on the phone and the debugger start showing things
6.So after I make sure that the debugger works,I exit the game, the debugger start showing "Waiting for a game to start..." and when I start a shared game, nothing happens,no new log messages and the debugger was still waiting for a game to start

On my phone side,I only see a black screen and nothing else,I have to close ppsspp on my phone in another way because, ppsspp is not reacting to any commands.

RE: Remote disc streaming
Okay, it might take a minute but if it cannot connect, it SHOULD time out eventually and say "error reading file" or something. It's strange that it doesn't.

This was happening with ipv6 addresses due to a URL parsing bug, but it shouldn't have affected ipv4 (like "123.45.67.89".)

I'll see if I can add more logging for errors.

RE: Remote disc streaming
I left it for 5 minutes and nothing happens
On the pc side I open Process Hacker=>Properties=>Disk and Network...during those 5 minutes ppsspp only send 1.08kb and receive 1.65kb the moment phone side displayed the games list and that was all

Does the android version create a log file somewhere like the windows version

I've added better timeouts and error messages / logging here:

RE: Remote disc streaming
I'm having an issue with this working for me too. I'm on Windows 10 using the same build version on both PC and Android. The Windows version can find the games on the Android tablet but not vice versa. games are even playable. Browsing from the Android app results in continuously searching. NVM my firewall is blocking it. How do I make an exception for this to work?

RE: Remote disc streaming
Depends on what your firewall is. If you're just using the default Windows Defender, it probably prompted you the first time PPSSPP tried to access the internet.

Start -> Windows Firewall -> Allow an app or feature

Look for PPSSPP, try checking private and public.

RE: Remote disc streaming
It seems it has something to do with my phone or Android 5
I just get a new phone with Android 9 and it works perfectly fine

RE: Remote disc streaming
No one has contributed keyboard handling for iOS. You could edit the ini file directly with another app.

You're likely to have performance issues with typical internet latency, though. This was only designed to be used inside an internal network.
