Sorry guys, I've been busy and didn't get around to responding sooner.

emmaus- Ahh, I'm legit facepalming at myself for not remembering this. I forgot that I don't use ppsspp's default font, I use the original psp font. This is probably why I'm getting different results from people using the font ppsspp comes with.

I tried with and without the original fonts but the text is still not visible(I'll be using 0.9.8.306 for that game until the problem is fixed)

I would like to know why the fix was removed i know the fix didnt make 1 game to work what game stopped working with the fix because until the last release phantasy star portable 1-2-2 Infinity dont display text and im using the fonts of my psp i have tried everything but the only way to get text is with software rendering enabled in windows and android the fix was a great fix because the following games work without problem until the build 0.9.8 r323

i dont know why the fix was removed but if it was just to fix 1 game and leave 5 games unplayable than something is wrong until the last build i have been unable to play those games and those are the half of my games because without the fix the ikkitousen games crash just after being defeated or defeating a boss or in the case of phantasy star suddenly crash and no text maybe someone can tell wich game stopped working with the fix because i think 5 games playable are more important than just 1game

i dont know if im the only one with this problem but whenever i try to play multiplayer it is stuck and i cant move on or go back.
im using ppssppv0.9.8-1334-g6e5d7ed now updated to 0.9.9 it doesnt work on both
and the game is ULUS10410: phantasy star portable
wlan is active and i tryed already with 2000/3000 and 1000

I'm having an issue on this Mediatek 8389 quadcore. When I select Machine Frenzy 1 only the ingame overlay images display superimposed by the control overlay, the background is completely black. I can even select my weapons but it's like the mission stopped loading and just dropped me in limbo. I'm using PPSSPP 0.9.9.1 for Android on the mtk8389's PowerVR SGX544 GPU. The issue seems worse in non-buffered mode as the control overlay disappears leaving me guessing where to press or relying on my bt controller.
For all I know it's an issue with the copy of the game I'm using.

edit: I thought I had the instructions right but the rip I've got doesn't seems to work no matter what. I got another from another region and it works. :/ So I have no idea what I did wrong.

I've been offline for several months, and just discovered that the latest dev builds allow me to play Portable 1 and 2 in "Multimode", finally giving me access to all of the multiplayer missions that previously forced me to whip out my PSP Slim and play them, and that Portable 2 has almost all of its graphical glitches that made it nearly impossible for me to play fixed (and the text is working from what I've seen in my hour and change testing the game out).

However... Portable 1 is still missing text...

I got used to being able to read the text using the v0.9.8-323-gf2bf8df build (I've been playing almost all my games with this build, up until tonight), and I was wondering if there is a version of PPSSPP (beta, dev, or hiding on Github) that lets me not only play Multimode, but allows me to see the text.

In the meanwhile, it isn't a big deal, because I can just switch between versions depending on whether I want to play story missions and interact with the NPCs, or just rampage multiplayer missions to hunt for rare drops.

i've DL the lastest build on win64 and i still have the no text bug on the US version. Hope it will be fixed soon !
