RE: Final Fantasy 1
I'm having slow frame rate when you go out to the map, and some stuttering before loading some dialogs and such, any Idea what setting I might be missing?
On android x86 powerVr ppsspp 0.9.5 I get the same kind of issue with Ys 1 and Ys 2 |

RE: Final Fantasy 1
I have the latest build and I've been getting stuttering sound too. I've ticked and unticked a bunch of boxes and it changes nothing. Opening and closing the menu seems to make it happen but then opening it again or opening the emulator menu stops it temporarily. Plus perhaps this is simply a scaling issue but the sprites have lines across them. I'll play with the settings once more to see if there's any options which remove them but any help from the community here would be appreciated.

RE: Final Fantasy 1
Registered to say that I also get choppy/staticy audio with this game. Happens whenever I open or close the menu, and also randomly while playing. I've tried playing with default settings and also messing around with lots of stuff but nothing seems work. Just wanted to say that for the devs. Hopefully this game will have better audio in the future. Thanks.

Just wanted to say that the audio in this game is still an issue on version 0.9.7.

RE: Final Fantasy 1
I'm having an issue with this game on the Windows version of 0.9.7. I get the same problem when I try to save in FFIV Complete Collection where the emulator is basically causing my video card drivers to fault out. I have an Nvidia GTX 560 with the 334.67 Beta Drivers on a 64-bit Windows 8.1 system. I can't test it on the 32-bit version of the emulator btw because I get an error saying MSVCO120.dll is missing from my computer.

RE: Final Fantasy 1
Not sure, maybe there's a bug in the beta driver?
You can install the microsoft visual c++ 2013 runtime to get that dll, just install the 32-bit one: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/...x?id=40784 -[Unknown] |

RE: Final Fantasy 1
Yah I installed the 32-bit Runtime and I can run the 32bit ppsspp client now. Same crash in the 32bit version.
"The NVIDIA OpenGL driver detected a problem with the display driver and is unable to continue. The application must close." There a reason PPSSPP is using OpenGL rather than DirectX? |

Crossplatform compatibility, for one. Non-Windows RT phones and tablets don't run DirectX, nor do Linux, Mac, FreeBSD, Raspberry Pi, Symbian, or Blackberry, excluding WINE on applicable platforms, and even then, it's translated to OpenGL.

Try disabling "Simulate Block Transfers" and enabling "Disable Slower Effects". Does that help? Does that help? set the rendering resolution to 1:1, upscale to off, and spline/Bezier curves quality to Low, it did help a lot to me (but It stills have issues from time to time). |

Does that help? As far as I know its a problematic game, and you are not going to get much more speed there. |
