It stopped working for me on 0.9.7, it's stuck on Loading screen. It was working on the previous versions.

RE: Burnout Legends
The long-standing black sun issue is still there in 0.9.8. It doesn't really bother me, but the music issue (skips track every few seconds) is still present too, and that's a little annoying.

Please fix this guys! The skipping soundtracks bug has been fixed since v0.9.8-474-gf9344b5 (for Burnout Legends and Burnout Dominator.) The black border on the sun on Burnout Legend is already fixed as of v0.9.8-1202 (happened a few builds before 1202, actually.) Using ppsspp version 0.9.8. Any help? Take note of the version numbers of the build I'm using. They're dev builds from the git, which you can download from the buildbot ( http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/ ) or compile on your own if you have the means to do so. You're probably using the stable build from the download page, there's been a ton of changes since 0.9.8. Please fix this guys! I am wrong the problem has been fixed however I had to manually search for the build rather than just choosing latest download on the PPSSPP website. Thanks for letting me know dude, I was waiting 4 months for this fix |

RE: Burnout Legends
Tested with ppsspp v0.9.8-1241-gfafd371 on Windows 8 (64-bit) and the problem with the black box over the sun is still present. Soundtrack problem resolved though.

Soundtrack problem resolved though. I just tested v0.9.8-1241-gfafd371 right now. There's no black box on the sun. See the screenshot below, I made it in windowed mode so that you can see the version number on the title bar: As I mentioned in my initial post, you need to have "Simulate Block Transfers" enabled. If there's no check on that option, you'll get black boxes on the sun. Here's a screenshot with Simulate Block Transfers disabled: If you have Simulate Block Transfers enabled and there's still a black box on the sun, it's probably a driver issue (I'm just covering all bases here. I only have access to an nVidia card and an Intel IGP, so I can't possibly know the status on the ATI side.) RE: Burnout Legends
I see. This is the last thing that I can think of: are you using buffered rendering? In non-buffered rendering, the sun has a black box even if simulate block transfers is checked.

RE: Burnout Legends
Yeah, simulate block transfers only works with buffered rendering.
Generally speaking, most framebuffer effects are disabled when non-buffered rendering is activated, which makes it a speedhack. PPSSPP Modern Testbed:- Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz 16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz Windows 7 x64 SP1 PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:- Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz 8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz Windows 7 x64 SP1 |

RE: Burnout Legends
Yes, that was the problem I was using Non-Buffered Rendering because it worked at reducing the lag on Need For Speed Carbon: Own The City. I guess I will just use Buffered Rendering while playing Burnout Legends. Thanks for the help guys, you rock!

RE: Burnout Legends
Burnout legends runs very nice and smooth on Tegra note 7 KitKat 4.4.2 and ppsspp 9.9.9 (30 fps, x2 res, x8 anizo, and i can use filters like fxaa or bloom or carton :-), but there is a problem with lag, stuttering in menu, anyway both ppsspp and burnout legend are awesome, salute!
