Yeah I edited my post it was fast mem causing the problem. The games ive tested so far run at a solid 60fps. Its pretty amazing.

what games did you test
also does anyone have any idea what's causing sound not to work

Sound core on iOS.

btw i think it only can play a called sound in the called directory, but there are about 1000 emulators that can do this so it means there is already a patch for it.

Wow!! I have crisis core working at 55 fps on iPhone 5! Great job guys! If you get fast mem working I think it will give me the extra 5fps! Fantastic job!

how did you get crisis core working i have been trying to get to work for a while
also what are the setting you used to get wipeout working at this framerate i can barely get it to go 7-8 ingame

Disable sound emulation (its still using the cpu even though you cnt hear anything so its best to just disable it)

Disable buffer rendering (fixes glitches and gives a huge fps boost)

Enable JIT (duh )

Enable frame skip.

Thats what I did to get 60fps

Yep spot on! That's the setting I have, also turn vertex on (think that's what it's called) frame skip is enabled still a little jittery but very playable!

Oh...do eboots work on this emulator? Would be great if they do...then I can play a few psx games without using zodttds outdated psx4all emulator

no i don't mean the settings i mean after i choose new game it stays white,also emulator inside emulator?(insert yo dawg joke here)

Nooo eboots are converted psx iso to work on psp. And yeah new game doesn't work. You have to get a save from somewhere else like I did and then load game. Maybe use desktop version of ppsspp...start new game and copy the save file over to iPhone and use that.

Edit: I had a look around and it appears eboots only work on custom firmware. Is there still any way to get them working on this emulator?

The emulator should open on the 3GS. I dont think the 3GS is fast enough to play games at a playable speed though.

Make sure you don't have fastmem enabled, for me it is not working well. Yeah, there are bugs with sound, rotating, etc. as far as I can tell.

Yeah sound doesnt work at all, is it actually processing the sound though? I swear the fps drops a tiny bit when I enable it despite the fact that I cant hear anything.

WOW!!!!!!!! I just ran Wipeout Pute at 51-52 FPS on IPHONE 5 6.0 and it was smooth and beautiful!!!!! Settings: hardware transform on,frameskip on,vertex cache on,draw using..on,use mediaengine on. not analog controls,no sound no tilt etc.

I DONT KNOW IF IT HELPS BUT I DOWNLOADED FREE MEMORY AND I OVERCLOCK 1.1 FROM CYDIA TO TRY AND GAIN SPEED.

ALSO IT HELPS WHEN YOU HAVE A SAVE FILE TO START UP GAMES.MORTAL KOMBAT UNCHAINED IS VERY FAST BUT THE SCREEN FLICKERS.....

It's slow on Windows too if that makes you feel any better

Yes, iPhone 5 is fast because most games are limited by GPU and iPhone 5 has a very fast GPU.
