RE: Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker
What does the cheat code specifically do? Is it possible to make it so you can kill the boss in e.g. two hits (i.e. is the cheat code increasing the damage amount)?

This is the code in question:

Quote:_C0 One Hit Kill [Mechs]
_L 0x2001B764 0xAE200064

Apparently it's for the EU version of the game, so I probably won't be able to see how it works (I've got the US version). I'll check though.

Edit: It works with the US version. You basically just walk up to the boss and it ends the fight, sending you to its death cutscene and beyond.

RE: Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker
Good news: I found where the boss's hitpoints are with the memory viewer, so by figuring out where the game edits this value from (and correcting whatever is going wrong), we should hopefully be able to come up with a fix soon.

Edit: It's not entirely that simple, however. It picks a random address for the boss's health every time you restart the mission or the game.

RE: Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker
Hi everyone, new member here, I've been playing Peace Walker for a while, and had a lot of fun (except for the crackling sounds and garbled fonts in the upper-left corner (countdowns and timers as well as bosses' names).

I just reached the Peace Walker and I'm terribly disappointed by the fact that I can't defeat it. I read on this thread that you have to use a cheat or something to beat it but I couldn't manage to make this work. I would appreciate some help...

Here's what I did :

- created a .ini file named ULES01372.ini in a cheat folder,
- added these lines in the .ini file :

_S ULES01372
_G Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker

_C1 One Hit Kill [Mechs]
_L 0x2001B764 0xAE200064

- made sure the "activate cheat codes" option box was checked.

Now when I pause and go to "cheat codes" there's nothing there.

I'm running PPSSPP v0.9.7.2-96-gac4a70a, bought PPSSPP gold and I'm running it on Windows 7 64,
Intel Core i5 2500 @3.3GHz, ATI HD 7950 3Gb, 8 Go RAM

I know, this is a long shot but I hope some people still read the forums and can provide help. Also, sorry for my english, it's not my first language.

Thanks in advance !
