Tested with v0.9.5-16-g1347c3b build, no noticeable change. Game still stalling/waiting at the same point in the intro dialogue with Odin when Lenneth materializes her valkyrie form.

I'm sidestepping the issue by using v8.1 PPSSPP; this version has its own set of issues, but fortunately it does get through the frozen scenes. Proceed to save and go back to your v9.5 goodness.

Not sure how well it'll work. I only just got through the Odin scene.

is from "v0.8.1-8-g872366a", the last where it work is the v0.8.1

So, do you mean that it works in v0.8.1-8-g872366a and does not work in v0.8.1-15-g5b5f9cb, or that it doesn't work in v0.8.1-8-g872366a and did in the official v0.8.1 release?

Probably the latter, meaning this is a video related problem.

doesn't work in v0.8.1-8-g872366a, the v0.8.1 give a black screen in the meanwhile is aspected to run a cutscene and at the end the game continue normally, sorry for my poor english

Simply downloading a save file from gamefaqs completly resolve the issue with transformation there are several saves that push you trough LONG opening in easy normal and hard modes so basicaly searching for a fix doesnt hurt just download save and you can enjoy game . But there are small issues with viewig EQ sometimes it doesnt show stats or even item name but playable 100% on android SGS3 4.1.2

Hanging during the transformation scene is now resolved and the game completely playable (with the proper FMV cutscene playback) thanks to the fix introduced in v0.9.6-39-ga95930a by [Unknown].

No need to use external savegames any more to get past that point.

Tested with latest build and after "yes my lord"black screen evetything freezes can't even open emulator menu.

It works for me although a bit sluggish at times. I have an Xperia Z. Are there certain settings I can set to change that?

edit: errrr ok I'm stuck at the same spot as above poster... although my screen doesn't turn black. music still plays, characters just don't do anything.

Tested on v0.9.6-77-g0116aa0 with default settings.

Got past the Freya "Yes my lord" dialogue and the FMV sequence (Lenneth materializes her armor and wings) plays. Played up to the first combat, game seems fine.

There is a noticeable FMV stutter in the prologue intro FMV (menu > prologue > press any key), the Valhalla doors FMV, and the armor materializing FMV. Is it just my system or poorly configured settings?

No the stutter is a bug, not sure what's causing it yet. But settings won't cure it.

If you're still getting the hang there you either have a bad rip (just copy it from your UMD again to be sure) or you are not using the latest git build of PPSSPP.

Urgh Dat Lux! Anyway seems to be a bit weird >.> sometimes it does play shemale transformation sometimes doesnt i don't get it... with the veryy last build i can pass tru that but hangs at 1st battle :/ Tested on Android ofc S3
