RE: Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker
If you mean the sun as a black box then use buffered rendering.....it should be alright then.

RE: Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker
Is anyone able to run this game successfully on Android in any versions since 0.8.1? I can't complete levels. The game freezes every time at the end of levels.

Still nothing....it hasn't been fixed even at JPCSP!

RE: Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker
Hi. I'm having a bit of a trouble with the texts/subtitles in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. It only fixes itself whenever I save then load (I'm talking about save states). I hope somebody can help me. And here are the screenshots. BTW, my specs are:

Processor: AMD Turion Neo X@ dual processor L625 1.6ghz
RAM: 4gb
GPU: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3410 1.7gb
OS: Windows XP 32-bit service pack 2

I think its yours graphics drivers....try updating the drivers. Or try to change the rendering- non-buffered, buffered, etc.
Or try to post it here: https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/issues

But I'm playing the game normally without any visual bugs like you've got.

thanks. I already updated my graphics drivers and that seems to be the solution. Smile thanks again. Though, I have a bit of a problem again and I don't think it's the graphics this time. I'm at the msf base for the first time and after a few seconds, the emulator hangs/stops/pauses. I tried stopping the emulation but nothing happens. But, when I click stop, pause then run, it goes back to the ui of the emulator, just like when you stop the emulation on other games. So it seems to me that a part of the emulator stops working. Dunno if you got the scenario of what I just said but, if you do and if you know the solution to that, please help. I'd really really appreciate the help. I'll also post this on github just like what you said above.

RE: Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker
Antonio: It's been broken on Windows since the adhoc merge.

The last working build for this game for Windows is v0.9.5-683-g0a133cf (x86, x64). As for Android, I have no clue, it's been broken for months due to an ARM JIT issue.

Also, if you want to use this game on newer git builds, it requires you to connect to a Pro Online server (even a local host one), or it'll crash. Not really a workaround, but there's no other option right now, except this, or to use an old build. It's an unfortunate side-effect of the Pro Online merge (why was it merged without testing? Undecided).
