With the latest updates (0.9.5-139) for example, most NTSC games now play 30/30 instead of the 60/60 they used to play before the 0.9.5 update.

RE: new 9.5 update sound choppy
i think a new release should be done, like " 0.9.6 "
because 0.9.5 has problems. Undecided

RE: new 9.5 update sound choppy
nah, i think we should just wait until all sound problems are ironed out, since well run out of version numbers if we release it that way, plus most people know about the devbuilds anyway so its pretty pointless to do that now...

RE: new 9.5 update sound choppy
no, when I say unstable it means that the connection is not consistent to the point that the download itself would stop, so using those programs is useless since the problem is the connection stability not connection speed, and BTW I already have those, and theres a storm comin! so maybe the electricity itself would be out... -_-

I too have noticed sound problems in that game, and not just at the start either.

There's a 'victory fanfare' whenever you finish a battle, and this sounds very bad now, though it sounded perfectly normal in some old versions.

NB:
I most recently tested this sound effect in build 182 of PPSSPP v0.9.5, where it still sounds horrible, so the fixes mentioned above (build 96 etc) have not helped at all for this.

I will now download the current latest build and test this again, to see if there's any improvement in this sound effect, made after build 182, and then I'll report to this thread again with my new results (good or bad).

Best regards: dlanor
