RE: Hexyz Force
Had the fuzzy minimap thing as well, but fixed it when messing around with rendering settings someone mentioned earlier.
Now perhaps someone can explain the following issue to me. Somehow in the middle of save stating/another random button press, the main character kept walking forward without any input from me. Happened right before a cutscene, so I got a bit frustrated and tried to fix this, which involved a lot of random button mashing. In the end, I saved over my current file (Not too much progress lost thankfully), and after that the minimap was fuzzy and glitched out. Along with that swirly effect that happens when you get into a battle. Edit: Found out that F5 changes rendering settings in game. Also, during my adventures in trying to fix this issue, somehow state saving caused the whole program to crash. Dunno how that happened, but it seems to be working now. |

RE: Hexyz Force
I'm having a weird issue with this game. Everything works great but whenever I switch area the game drops down to around 13/30 FPS for a while, then after 10-15 seconds it gets back to max (30/30). The game never slows down during cutscenes or dialogue however.
Iv'e tried messing around with options, and nothing helps. Iv'e even used the "Install Game" feature of Hexyz Force but it didn't really change anything. This is the first PSP game Iv'e run into this issue with. Emulator version: 0.9.5 (official) Device: PC (Windows XP) |

RE: Hexyz Force
On what device...I clear that game at least 4 times without problems by using 0.9.1-1383 x86(except that if frame skipping is enabled,it will randomly crash...especially before and in cut scenes)
And btw, what are your settings...did you change anything or your are using the default settings? (11-22-2013 06:28 PM)vsub_ Wrote: And about the settings...I just tried the game on 0.9.5 but I didn't notest anything wrong. I pretty much have everything on default. And like I said I tried messing around with settings turning some things off, turning things that were off to on and things like that. Nothing helped. I just used the "Restore PPSSPP's settings to default" option and then loaded my save and Iv'e got the same issue. EDIT: Played a bit more now. When I enter the Monolith Room I have apsolutely no problem with the fps. However it's very lagy on Palfina Temple B2F and B1F. And the fps doesn't go back to max after waiting anymore, instead the game freezes after I play for a while and emulator crashes. It's weird that in that one room there is apsolutely no problems, but on this two areas there is. Also the battles as well as cutscenes are flawless, running at max fps. I'll try reaching more areas and see what happens, unless the game freezes again. Could you try playing the game from the beginning with the cleric character and see do you get that slowdown on those floors? EDIT 2: Tried playing male character now. Got the lag on the first area, works perfectly in area where R. Altar is though and then starts laging again once I get to the area after that. |

RE: Hexyz Force
I doubt it matters much but what are your pc specs.
