RE: God Of War:Chains Of Olympus
I'm using build 0.8.1-1077-gb5c6b75 (instead of 0.8.1, because this build has mappable controls. Seriously, that is such a BASIC feature of any emulator!! It boggles my mind that the official build still doesn't let you do that, but whatever...)
It seems to run Chains of Olympus nicely, except I'm getting boxes around sprites (like red orbs, etc). Any ideas what settings could fix that? |

See Persona, Persona 2, and Pangya for examples. Nothing you can do to fix it for now. Will be dealt with in due time. You can partially mitigate it by switching to Non Buffered Rendering in GoW, but that will break other graphical effects, so it's not the way to go either. Just have patience, emulator is still a work in progress. RE: God Of War:Chains Of Olympus
Is it also a known issue that every normal save you make in Persephone's tower and beyond is unloadable? (screen goes grey when loading and stays that way). So I had to rely on savestates to get through it.
And THEN, I got through the first half of the final boss, followed by the quicktime event, and now kratos has disappeared completely from the screen, so I can't finish off the other half of the final boss battle. Any way around this one? You have no idea how frustrating it is for the game to break completely near the VERY end of the game! |

That should at least give the developers an idea of what's causing the problems in this game. |

RE: God Of War:Chains Of Olympus
Honestly on my iphone 5 ios ppsspp god of war runs about 98-100 percent at all time! This doesn't mean that the fps is always 60 or 30 but the timings and speed are perfect honestly it is just as playable on my phone as it is on a psp. Only if we could add a brightness setting as some areas of this game are very dark. My settings by the way are: non buffered, frame skip off, force 60 fps or less, rendering resolution auto 1:1, hardware and vertex on, mipmapping on and everything else off on that page... Set the CPU clock to 46 and everything else in the emulation section checked!! Although every 45 min or so I get a crash I save state often and the game is almost completed! Good luck

RE: God Of War:Chains Of Olympus
I just completed the game on 0.9.6 standard emulator settings. The game was working really well. The only problem was lack of shadows. Everything else was looking great.
