I asked the very same question a friend who owns a VITA, and he said it's best to go for 3DS as it has a lot more games released,
if you have a good budget, you could go for both, but definitely 1st place 3DS.

I agree with this, the main problem is that for some dumb reasons the 3DS is region locked, aka you can't play imported games.

Hum! But I think the Brazilian versions is the same region of USA. I will not have problem with this. I don't like of 3DS, looks like a older console, the graphics not are good like the new consoles, but the PS Vita graphics are. The Sony says that will come about 100 games in this year for Vita. And seems that will come a special edition of God of War, the first two versions

Yeah, as far I know the PS Vita is regionfree. Well I don't really like the 3DS look, in all honesty I hate a dual screen, and I'm not a fan of thouch based console, but considering how well it sell overall...also there are people who are already saying that the ps vita is already dying, moreso in japan 3ds is selling like cakes compared to the sony counterpart. Obviously in the end you stick with what you like more

Nice information vnctdj, also you have may thanks , it's nice to have some similarities between Italian and French language, it helps lol. But this conferm that the PS vita is brutally raped by the 3DS...and I lolled at the 360 sells (no hate or anything, it's only natural considering that most of the japanese games which came on usa and eur on xbox 360 in japan are ps3 only exclusive).

Oh God, the sales numbers for the Vita. That is crazy; I did not realize that it was being beaten that badly. Is it like that around the world as well? Also interesting how close the 3DS is to overtaking the Wii, despite not being out for nearly as long (at least it feels like there was a good gap there).

The Sony reduced the price of Vita in Japan. The Vita here still is the same price (about R$1.200,00), but in ML is about R$650,00.

I'm not sure about "all the world" part, but a good portion is focused on 3ds rather than ps vita. I have to say though that it's sharing the psp fate, if I recall correctly the psp didn't sell so well at first, only much more later it became more popular and about the Wii U...it is mostly hated for many reasons, it's a miracle if nintendo sold so many copies.

Yes, the PSP didn't sell good because not had many games, the Nintendo DS was better and had many games, but the PSP is the best, now.

inb4 take a look at how many non-Japanese gaijin titles PSP have around 2006-2007 onwards.

I'm not kidding, even there are some bunch of idiots who don't consider PSP as a video game console (regardless portable or not).

I agree. During my highscool days some classmates of mine bought the PSP to use it mainly as a media player, which I find just silly and a waste of money if you don't plan to take advantage of the console, but I can't complain either considering how many titles didn't get a localization.
