RE: 60FPS patches for PSP games that run at 30FPS
Hello, I'm new here in terms of post count, but I've been following the forums for quite awhile. I've noticed that many have reported dissidia 012 being playable at FPS higher than 30. Did they accomplish that through CWcheats like you guys did? Or was it something else?
It would be awesome to play dissidia at 60fps |

(link needed) BTW, MGS Peace Walker seems tougher than I thought. |

VIRGIN KLM can you take a look at Fate Unlimited Codes.
The FPS(internal speed)is 30 everywhere except in Extras,VS Screen(before the battle)and in battle(on those places is 20 which make the game look kinda slow) Using PPSSPP on Windows 7 x64 SP1 i7 4771 3.5Ghz,GTX750TI,16GB RAM Batch iso <=> cso converter http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=5384 Save Game\States Manager http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=5516 |

Also MGS Peace Walker seems like the FPS cap acts a bit dynamicaly. For example: _L 0x2044E398 0x00000410 If you put this code on a real PSP it will speed up the game and some scenes will reach 60 FPS (enable FPS counter with CWCheats and keep looking at it) |

Sorry I was mistaken. Those that mentioned themselves getting 40-60 fps meant the emulator itself was getting 60fps, but the game itself was locked at 30. Any chance for a dissidia 012 fps unlock cheat?

RE: 60FPS patches for PSP games that run at 30FPS
Found a different method to keep 60fps, bad news is AFAIK it works in only one game:
Outrun 2006 This one uses an automatic variable fps limiter, most PSP games have one or more fixed internal limiter, so all you have to do is increase CPU frequency (settings>system>mark unlock CPU clock). Normally 333mhz is barely enough to keep 20/30fps, if you set to around 666mhz it will result in a more steady 60fps. Of course you will need a fast computer to double the PPSSPP CPU clock, not indicated to android users. Gran Turismo uses a similar limiter, but it don't need more than 333mhz to mantain 60fps. |

Ridge Racer works the other way around tho. 333MHz keeps 60fps but if you set it to 666MHz it will sometimes jump between 30 and 60 and make gameplay stuttery (not good for a racing game).

If the game doesn't swap video modes there's little to nothing I can do.
Either way I'm already puzzled with MGS: PW and Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins btw, I can't seem to find what's happening on them. |

RE: 60FPS patches for PSP games that run at 30FPS
Have enabled both Speed and FPS counters and if it goes from 30-ish to 60-ish FPS on a menu or something that's it.
Also it's pretty obvious to the eye when it goes from 60FPS to 30 FPS and from 30 fps to 20FPS. |

I tested what you said and I found that the game always run at around 30 FPS...
