RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
Did you use the PSP patch instead of the PS3 patch? The PSP patch on the HD version causes those issues.. :\
Re-patch a clean HD iso using the PS3 patch. 4GHz AMD 3900X, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 6GB Nvidia RTX 2060, Asus Crosshair 7 Hero (Wifi), Linux How to ask useful questions: https://web.archive.org/web/20110214010944/http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 I'm not Dark_Alex, nor do I claim to be. On the Team Maverick site, make sure to scroll down to where it says PS3 patch.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
I'm still getting slowdowns when running in fullscreen compared to when running windowed. It doesn't seem to matter what options I have set, the game always seems to slow down when fullscreen'd after about 15 seconds.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
Maybe disable vsync or turn down rendering resolution?
This is an issue of device specs I think. I'm not seeing these issues with my PC. 4GHz AMD 3900X, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 6GB Nvidia RTX 2060, Asus Crosshair 7 Hero (Wifi), Linux How to ask useful questions: https://web.archive.org/web/20110214010944/http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 I'm not Dark_Alex, nor do I claim to be. RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
i had a similar issue i deactivated vsync and activated force 60 fps... only other issue is a freezing when opening menus like the tools menu when in quest or shops and any other menu. however the freezing lasts just a second

They're extremely intensive when paired together.. 4GHz AMD 3900X, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 6GB Nvidia RTX 2060, Asus Crosshair 7 Hero (Wifi), Linux How to ask useful questions: https://web.archive.org/web/20110214010944/http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 I'm not Dark_Alex, nor do I claim to be. Something is definitly going wrong here as I have quite a powerful computer. EDIT: Enabling foce 60fps doesn't help. I maxed out all the graphics settings and still ran perfectly windowed and then perfectly in fullscreen for 20 seconds then started lagging. |

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
We need some more information, I think..
1. Are you using texture scaling(note, not filtering)? 2. Is this the only game you have slowdowns in? 3. Is it "Speed"(VPS) or FPS slowdown? 4. Where is it happening? Everywhere? 5. Can you list your PC specs for us? 6. What revision of the emulator? 7. Does the slowdown still persist if you exit back to windowed mode after the lag begins in fullscreen? 4GHz AMD 3900X, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 6GB Nvidia RTX 2060, Asus Crosshair 7 Hero (Wifi), Linux How to ask useful questions: https://web.archive.org/web/20110214010944/http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 I'm not Dark_Alex, nor do I claim to be. RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
Sound is working nicely (although the sounds themselves are a little low quality -- probably because this is a PSP port), except for the village. I'm getting minuscule, just ever-so-slight tearing in some areas at home. It's nothing tragic, just a curiosity. Otherwise, wow. It didn't even take, what, 2 weeks between getting music to work and getting all of the sounds. That's some rapid progress. Not to mention Dax's great work on enabling HD remaster emulation.
Even the new control settings (although cumbersome on PC) work flawlessly even with my wonky pad. Consider me officially amazed. |

Couldn't get something to run on top of fullscreen PPSSPP, as soon as I alt-tabbed to the resource monitor it would speed up again. You can see the lag spike though: http://i.imgur.com/xYOot4I.png |
