It's just impossible.

Save states are not reliable, you should use in-game saves Wink

RE: How can i load my old save state?
I think it should allow at least for the same major version like save states in 0.8.1 build 1 should also work in 0.8.1 build 2. It doesn't reach 1.0 yet so I consider the second number a major.

It doesn't make sense if every new build makes a save state from the previous build unusable.

I think you should ask why to a developer Wink

Maybe they just use a simple check. There is no way that a new build that only fixes a typo or something completely unrelated really breaks the save state compatibility.

It's no big deal. When I get a new build I just load a save data but it will be convenient if the save state is compatible for the same major version.

I think you are right, it could be good to have a developer opinion about this Smile
