Same GPU as second-generation Symbian devices. Quite a powerful GPU.

They also have this bug.

It seems to be a bug with all tile-based renderers then?

New version(the last version that i tested was 7.6-445) have very bad graphically problem with my phone (powerVR GPU) but these problems aren't in my tablet with mali400 gpu
for example missing character in Assassin's creed, or characters missing their hairs in Obscure and etc.

If needed i can add screenshots
last version that i used and was proper was 7.6-151 (not sure about some later versions!)

that issue in assassins creed is like this in mortal kombat unchained which started in 0.7.6-165 ( http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?...=unchained )

This is strange ... I have a galaxy scl 2.3.6, I had these problems, black screen etc...but once I flashed a custom ROM everything seem to be OK... now on 4.1.2

We're not going off-topic. We've established it's not related to PowerVR. It also happens on Adreno GPUs and Broadcom VideoCore GPUs.
We've also established that this does not happen to Mali.

Maybe this issue happens with every gpu but with the mali-400, it cause missing characters and stuff ! Huh .

Yeah, SCL has new gpu drivers and also a very different kernel when upgrading it to 4.0+
The phone is a pain to deal with for its developers but at least they've been able to keep progressing bit by bit.

But doesn't it have a powervr?
If so then the GPU drivers for scl can be installed on every powervr device ! Am I right? Huh

No, SCL has PowerVR530 which is actually pretty old and bad compared to other PowerVR GPUs (no offense).
Besides these builds are highly experimental as they're adding linux 3.0.8 kernel which was previously impossible for this device, even trying UART on it was a total pain and fustration.
So this is pretty much a miracle, and moreover the chipset is a TI omap 3xxx (3630 if I'm not wrong)

So to put it simple..
one, you won't use a driver of an older GPU on newer ones
two, the driver has been coded specifically for that chipset (which is also old and why it was such a pain to deal with it until OmapZoom gave some help).

Never tried naruto but lots of others had bad graphic glitches etc.... not just ppsspp but GTA vice city for example very glitchy is graphic distorted images etc....I'm talk in about GTA vice 10th anaversary just an example gaming in generally.. but soon as I flashed 4.1.2 its very good ppsspp games a lot quicker(not full speed but not far from) I'm even play in ravens word shadowlands etc full speed.. Smile so yep defo breathed new life into this deviceSmile
