RE: Daxter
I dont know why but when I make a new save a cinematic should happen (but I know it's normal if it's black) but the émulation stop then it gets stuck in black (vps stuck to) then i have to kill the task etc
I can launch the game by loading a save (save that I didnt created) but I go to the yellow mark and I have to see a cinematic again so the game crashes again I have a Galaxy S2 i9100 on CM9.1 stable (4.0.4) with siyah kernel and overclocked gpu to 440MHz (instead of 267) and i use the 0.7.6 What can i do pls ? |

But all you have to do is wait for the cut scene to finish and then the emulator will unfreeze and you can play again. |

RE: Daxter
Normally you can read what's being said in the cutscenes by enabling the subtitles..

Daxter works better with chainfire 3d on Galaxy S1
Daxter Was lagging at the 'ready at dawn studios' sign. Daxters speed improved when chainfire 3d's setting were on.
Menu speed - without chainfire 2 - 5, with chainfire 3d- 5-8 im still testing on the game the only problem is that it doesnt start the game screen goes black usually after starting a new game...... Ill try and change the settings of ppsspp please write your tests on this thread and try and help me Update :- game hangs after starting a new game Update 2 :- Bug combat functioning in Daxter Update 3 :- While playing Bug combat fps 7-9 which is very slow Update 4 :- Game functions when it is loaded fps speed 6-9 , im gonna try and change chainfire 3d's settings more update 5:- fps increases when Daxter moves highest fps till now 16.5 update 6:- after entering the door in the story mode the game hangs and stays on the same fps can anyone try chainfire 3d on another phone and test it on daxter and post the results (preferred phones would be dual core) Update 7 :- In chainfire 3d insted of reducing texture quality use unroll textures speed increases. Menu and game speed came upto 17 Update 8 :- Bug combat speed goes from 17 and above alot of improvement is there because of chainfire 3d there are lesser lags |

RE: Daxter works better with chainfire 3d on Galaxy S1
I see no changes when I'm using ch3d (Reduce texture quality, Reduce texture size) on HTC (GoW Ghost of Sparta), maybe on Daxter it works, I'll try to test later

RE: Daxter
Is there already a way to see the cutscenes? i have the problem, that it freezes at the cutscenes when i turn buffered rendering off. and if buffered renderring is enabled the game is very slow and the subtitles overlap.

Read my previous post. The freeze isn't an actual crash. The cutscene is actually still playing; you just can't see it or press any buttons to skip it. So just wait about a minute until the cutscene is over, then the game should resume. |

RE: Daxter
Retested with 0.8-54 on windows.
The game is quite gorgeous in a cartoony way and runs perfectly (with tiny hitches when loading new areas). Audio (both vocals and music) is also perfect. Only issue would be that the non interactive FMV cutscenes sometimes play at quarter size in the lower left corner with overlapping subtitles, but that's pretty much it. PPSSPP Modern Testbed:- Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz 16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz Windows 7 x64 SP1 PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:- Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz 8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz Windows 7 x64 SP1 |
