PPSSPP Mac Wineskin Port (Updated)+(Tutorial)

Hi everyone
I made a PPSSPP port for mac it work and have the same bugs that windows version has it but still some games are playable so check your games if its compatible here : http://forums.ppsspp.org/forumdisplay.php?fid=5 to unsure if you have a compatible game that work on PPSSPP.

If you dont want to follow the tutorial just download this old port it should do the job:

Tutorial:
1. Go to http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/ to Download the latest PPSSPP emulator.
2. Download The Wineskin port from http://adf.ly/MrmhU
3. Extract PPSSPP.zip file downloaded from http://adf.ly/MrmhU
4. Right click on the port and then click show package content.
5. Open drive_c alias then open programs files.
6. Extract PPSSPP.zip file downloaded from http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/
7. Put PPSSPP Folder Inside Programs files folder.
8. Close the finder windows.
9. Done, Open PPSSPP app it will work perfectly now.

Cool

Works out of the box for me.
The only thing is, the app seems to show your last opened games.

Sorry i dont know much about it but it will be erased it self when you use your own games

I put the old link again in the thread this is weird the new one worked fine for me.

What mac os do you use? i use mountain lion.

On my Macbook Pro runs Mountain Lion v.10.8.3.
If I click the icon, it does nothing. Changed back to old version that works.

I also use 10.8.3.
Well i guess i will tweaks the port to work and test it.

I... I am very confused as to why you'd do this, but go ahead o_o

Is there something missing from the SDL OS X build?

Also, I recommend also releasing a separate zip with just the wrapper, so users can just "Show Package Contents" and drop the newest Windows build from http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/ into it =P

I see you know how to use wrapper well some people dont know but i might make a tutorial on how to use the wrapper to update the emulator by your own. Thanks for the recommendation

It simply runs.
I'm new on OS X and a longyears Windows user.
I realy would like to test your native OS X version, but I don't know how to install the needed libs and how to use homebrew.

So this version is the easiest way, if you simply want to test the emulator, without doing modifications on your OS.

I am not new but same here i dont know how to but library file and all that so i made this simple wrapper

did you try the tutorial plus i didn't try xbox360 gamepad on PPSSPP which is compatible but i dont think it will work on mac also try older version the link in the topic

Im confused, why use the windows version in a wrapper when there is a native mac version?

didn't understand how it work so i made mine its easy and updatable also work at full speed no font problem.
