Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky FC[1.1] & SC[1.1] - PC Texture Pack (27-Sep-2021)
This is a Texture pack of Trails in the Sky FC(ULUS10540)

Vast majority of environment, portrait, minimap and HUD textures have been updated with PC version textures.

TO DO:
1. About 50% of effect textures
3. Bracer Notebook Pages (Might need to look for help with upscaling, PC page layout is vastly different)
4. Final Boss textures are different between PC and PSP ports, and need to be adjusted.
5. Whatever miscellaneous stuff I missed.

Filepath for where files should be placed should look like: \memstick\PSP\TEXTURES\ULUS10540
For the best look Rendering Resolution should be atleast 2x, while Texture Filtering and Screen Scaling Filter should both be set to "Linear".

Filenames and .ini file have been formatted to be compatible with Mac and Linux versions(I don't have either of those OSes to test if it actually works)

This is a texture pack for Trails In the Sky - Second Chapter(NPUH10191 & NPUH10197). Vast majority of games' locale, portrait, menu, effect and scenario textures have been replaced with PC version's textures.

Filepath for where files should be placed should look like: \memstick\PSP\TEXTURES\NPUH10191 (or NPUH10197 if on 2nd Disc). Since this is a 2 Disc game making a copy of download folder and renaming it to NPUH10197 is advised, to not bother with renaming folder whenever a disc swap occurs.

To do/Not done:

1. Agate's chapter exclusive portraits in Chapter 2.
2. Making early Chapter end graphics consistent with later ones.
3. Cutscene map graphics and other untouched cutscene images.
4. FC's Final Boss
5. Bracer notebook memo pages (Completely different from PC graphics)
6. Couple fishing and cooking graphics
7. Whatever other miscellaneous stuff was missed.

PC files are reasonably well organized. If one texture is part of say "R02" filename group rest of areas textures will also be there (there are exceptions occasionally) And since areas seem to be built kinda modulary if I enter one house and perform texture replacement rest of town's houses will also have those replacements active already.

Chapters 3 and 4 have been completed. Should be complete enough to be considered a 1.0 release. OP updated accordingly.

I might do SC at some point but I need to test how hashing behaves in a two disc game. If hashes between both discs are completely different that would increase workload threefold.

I performed quick hashing of UI elements for SC and textures.ini file atleast for that seemed to be compatible for both discs. So that is encouraging. SC is still two times bigger in scope than FC, so don't expect anything tangible anytime soon.

Thanks, Zero and Ao at this point are pretty much abandoned, since volume of work necessary to edit Player and NPC sprites fully is just unreasonable for 1 person. Which is why I didn't even attempt to do it for Sky.

EDIT: While I have started preliminary work on SC, I am noticing that unlike FC, SC has some "custom" textures so to speak. Meaning they take what used to be several separate texture and combined them together to create a unique texture. I assume this was done as a measure to try and save on space, but that means SC will require more effort to complete, since it will require not just locating PC texture but noticing from where some element comes from and creating a Custom texture with PC textures (an example of a simple texture posted in attachment. Top are PC textures, bottom is an example of an edit that was necessary to make for Texture Pack,)

I had to delete the reworked sprites from the folder of Zero because my device couldn't handle it. I just love the revamped UI and the portraits.

I haven't finished SC (only 20h in) and I will definitly wait until you have completed the overhaul.

Again, massive thx. it's great to see my favorite arc so polished!

First upload of SC chapter posted and OP updated accordingly.

Textures for Prologue Chapter and many UI Elements have been hashed. Since SC has 10 chapters total, I will be incrementing version number by 0.1 whenever I finish a chapter so it's possible to quickly tell how much is done.

Chapter 1 has been done. For my playthough I am using Schera as Party Member so if one is playing as Agate his textures for now will be less edited, but that should correct itself when I get to chapter that focuses on him more.
