Updating PPSSPP

Hi all, I'm pretty new to iOS emulation. I'm just wondering how would one usually update PPSSPP on iOS (non jailbreak)? Do you just delete the old version and get the new version from Tweakbox and have to manually transfer your saves and game files to the new version through a computer? Is there a way to update PPSSPP and keep your game files+save without a computer?

Also apparently Apple revokes permission for PPSSPP once in a while, how frequently does this happen? If it happens do you have to do the whole delete old version, install new version (and all your game files) again? Does this still happen on Jailbroken phones?

I would also like to know seeing as 12.1 freezes or starts in configuration

ppsspp doesn’t work on ios 12 so
you can’t find version 1.7 or 1.8 for ios
I think ppsspp done with ios and no body cares about it anymore
