PPSSPP doesn't work on Mac 10.12

I have a PC with the latest version of macOS Sierra and I can't launch PPSSPP. I installed SDL2 with Homebrew, but it doesn't work anyway. It just doesn't open the app. Can somebody help me?

i'm having the same issue i just hope someone can help. i can transfer my save states from my pc to my mac because its a newer version of the program

If you are getting the following:

Library not loaded: /usr/local/opt/libzip/lib/libzip.5.dylib
  Reason: image not found

then the following can help:

brew install libzip
