('cause I replayed a lot of big titles by PPSSPP because of the 3D support that I will never able to enjoy on the original PSP) If your card is really 6800, it's outdated, Vulkan will be only supported by newer architecures, from 8000 series or later. If your is GTX 680, it'll be able to run Vulkan. Only Femi or before are not supported. Also from here: https://developer.nvidia.com/vulkan-driver |

RE: DX 12 and OpenGL Vulkan
yeah yeah, my bad~ thanks!
so do you know that: 1) if vulkan development has been started? 2) will vulkan support stereoscopic 3D? (nvidia 3d vision) by now, I can switch to use DX9 to play PSP game in true 3D view. Playing Monster Hunter / Metal Gear Solid in S3D is simply amazing!!~~ Thanks a lot! |

Only the developers can tell you, I'm just a tester.

RE: DX 12 and OpenGL Vulkan
You can't use Vulkan on any device who's GPU does not support Vulkan. There is really nothing any app developer or driver or android version can do.
For the galaxy S in particular unfortunatly the PowerVR SGX540 that the Galaxy S uses is not compatible with Vulkan |

RE: DX 12 and OpenGL Vulkan
My Nvidia Shield Tablet(Original Model) recently got updated with Vulkan support. I've been testing the following Vulkan demos on my Shield TV and they all work fine.
https://github.com/SaschaWillems/Vulkan Would be sweet to have it working on PPSSPP. |
