Tekken Dark Resurrection

Help everyone, i had this strange bug on my tekken 5 dr which never happened before. Everytime i fight certain characters e.g roger jr, i cant proceed to battle cause its stock in the "get ready to the nxt battle" screen, but the flames still moving .. when i hit select+start its turn black .. WHY :-( help.

hi everybody,

the sound emulation in this game is not the best, too cause the music is great, it seems like bmg and sound effect are read is the same channel, cause chen you lower the sound effect in 0.9.x it lower also the bmg volume

Does anyone knows how to improve this ?

Disable Cheap Antialiasing. This game uses a similar technique to Gran Turismo in that is shifting a little bit every other frame, resulting in blurriness and screen shaking. This code disables that resulting in a clear stable image.

Hi, I found a solution which worked for me on fixing the in-game black screen on the industrial helicopter stage and the final Jinpachi stage.

I'm using PPSSPP Gold on Android, Galaxy S8 with USA Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection ISO.

Under performance settings, make sure "Disable slower effects (speedup)" is unticked.

Hello, i have the same problem with Shideravan above, the screen is shaking when playing at 60 fps and stops shaking if i enable frameskip 1. I have tried using different backends, disabling slower effects and using the above mentioned cheat to disable cheap aa and nothing works outside of reducing the games framerate to 30. Can anyone help me?

Edit: something weird just happened, i managed to get rid of the shaking by enabling or disabling the cheat for cheap anti aliasing(you can find the code a few posts above this one posted by solitarius). Every time i start the game it flickers regardless of whether i have the cheat enabled or not, if i then go into the cheat options and enable(or disable) it the flickering goes away¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I have no idea why this happens or if it can be of use to anyone else.

I suspect your issue is caused by the fact that the above cheat is patching a code in delay slot. PPSSPP cheat engine has a bit of a problem when patching such addresses as it requires additional jit invalidation which happens when you leave cheat menu(in which case you don't even need to enable or disable anything in there, just enter and leave the cheat menu should be enough).

To counter that slight problem you can use my version of the same thing:

I have the same shaking issue in DR - is there any other normal system option that needs to be on or off for it to work (I got the cheats to load and ticked them, but shaking persists unless frameskip(which forces 30FPS) - thanks for any help
